We travelled through India and Nepal with the best travel Buddy, Driver and guide. He ensured we got the most out of our trip, every need and request was met with courtesy. We saw the most amazing sites, and have lots of pictures for our memories. I think it would not have been the same without the trusty and reliable Mithun. I would definitely recommend this trip to see the sights of both India and Nepal, we appreciated the flexibility to change our itinerary and see a place in the mountains, both Payless and Mithun were great putting everything immediately into place for us. There were long hours on the road but we stopped when we wanted and saw the most amazing countryside, definitely better than flying! Our biggest highlights were shopping in Jaipur, the amazing Taj Mahal in Agra which also gave us our funniest moments being robbed of our bananas by a monkey. Myself and Mithun laughed a lot about that incident, obviously no one was injured. Chitwan, Pokhara, our flight to Everest. To be honest I could go on. Thanks Payless for your prompt and efficient service and thanks Mithun, it just wouldn’t have been the same without you. From the start, communication with the company was smooth, responsive, and reliable. The tour was well organized while still allowing for flexibility and customization along the way. This gave us the comfort of a structured plan but also the freedom to adapt when needed. The heart of our trip was our driver, Mithun. He was much more than a driver, he was a wonderful travel companion. His skill in navigating India’s challenging traffic and roads gave us confidence and peace of mind every single day. He was always helpful, sharing his insights and showing us the heart of India. He was accommodating, and attentive to our needs, going above and beyond to make our journey special. Anyone lucky enough to have Mithun as their driver will be truly blessed. Unfortunately, the Nepal portion of the tour had to be canceled just a day before we were to travel to the Nepalese border due to the political upheaval (the Gen-Z revolution). While we were naturally disappointed, we also felt fortunate not to get caught up in the situation. Neeraj Sharma of Payless Tours and Mithun handled this challenge with great professionalism, immediately arranging an alternative itinerary for us. We spent eight extra days traveling slowly from Varanasi back to Delhi, with hotels included at no extra cost to us. The replacement program was well thought out, enriching and fascinating, making the best of a difficult circumstance. We were impressed with how quickly and smoothly this was organized. The hotels provided were comfortable and modern, generally 3-star standard with air-conditioning and the amenities we needed. If budget allowed, I might choose 5-star hotels next time for the added convenience and locations, but overall, the accommodations were perfectly fine for this style of trip. Traveling with Payless Tours meant we saw places and experiences that large bus groups often miss. We felt well cared for at all times and had opportunities to see India more up close and personal. Overall, I highly recommend Payless Tours India. You will be in very good hands, with excellent organization, caring staff, and drivers like Mithun who turn a trip into a memorable journey.Show more
Trip date: September 2025 - Shaina· September 5th, 2025It was worth travelling all those kilometres in order to see all those amazing places and Himalayas. We touched Mount Everest on a scenic flight in Kathmandu, went paragliding in Pokhara and really enjoyed Indian temples and architecture gems. Beautiful mountain views and monuments we visited made us feel astonished by both countries. Varanasi is a must see place in India, however little orcha was worth visiting too. We loved Pokhara and Chitwan safari in Nepal. We were able to see all the majestic mountains surrounding the town since the weather was great. He was also very helpful in resolving any issues and requests we had. This tour requires good health and plenty of energy. If you want an experience where you can see and experience the highlights of both countries, this tour is the one for you. I would recommend booking a 4-star hotel option and being prepared for long drives, extended periods without food, having medication for any discomfort, and also to bring cash. We would have liked more details about what we would be doing each day, clear schedules, and knowing how much money we should have for the guides, entrance fees, and meals.Show more

My main goal was to see one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal, and to explore other Indian cities along the way. Our driver, Vivek, was always punctual, respectful, and calm in the face of unforeseen situations, offering recommendations in each city. Some of the recommendations he provided included restaurants, health centers, and city guides. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants a deep experience in India and Nepal. You'll spend a lot of time in the car, so I recommend bringing snacks, toilet paper, water, and medication if necessary for the curves, especially when traveling to Nepal. Mr. Vivek did his very best to make us 100 %satisfied and comfortable. His driving was very safe and professional despite some hard driving conditions in a few places. He didn't lose his patience even for a moment which we found impressive. Accommodation met our expectations, the rooms were quite clean and had all the most important facilities. The AC worked properly everywhere. Apart from Paylesstoursindia services, we loved both countries and derived great pleasure from sightseeing, trekking and doing extra activities. One of the greatest things we did was a morning jungle hike in Chitwan which we found adventurous. We got an opportunity to see rhinos in their natural habitat and spent some time in the wild.
