- Ryan· November 30th, 2022I strongly recommend that you do not book with this company. I was not aware of Israel's reputation for terrible customer service before my trip, but this company absolutely embodies the stereotype. Communication was very sparse and on occasion it was contentious . They made a handful of "mistakes" with my itinerary that lead to some stressful moments. Note that all of the tours were outsourced to different local companies and it's hard to paint twelve days with one brush. The accommodations were all fine. Local Israeli company Ben Harim tours started with a pickup at 6:30 am with a new guide/group every day. Usually it took until about 8am to be en route to the destination. Guides ranged from average to poor (Haya was particularly awful). Tours typically dragged on more like school field trips than a vacation. Lunch was usually about 2pm (8 hours after breakfast) and all cafeteria buffets we were taken to were expensive with terrible food. To their credit, booking tours did made the Jordanian border crossing seamless. I don't remember the name of the local Jordanian company, guide or luxury campsite, but it was fantastic start to finish. The best part of the trip. Egyptian company Maxim Tours was poor. The guide Nasser was completely untrustworthy and predominantly interested making money off of us. As one example, he kindly offered to arrange a Hot Air Balloon ride for $120. When I arrived I found out other people had paid $35. The tour manager Ramadan was similarly sleazy. Apparently the company had procrastinated booking domestic flights on behalf of group of ladies within the tour, and they were stuck with flights leaving Luxor 12 hours earlier. In order to accommodate, the whole group ended up needing to drive a large section of the Nile instead of cruising to save time, which was disappointing. The driver from the Israel border to Cairo was kind, but spoke no English. I rarely write reviews, but because this is such a big decision, I feel my negative experience warrants one. I left two stars because I ultimately did make it from place to place and Booking Tours did fulfil the vast majority of the promised itinerary.Show moreTrip date: November 2022

Asked on July 5th, 2022I have a bunch of questions/clarifications. Is the tour guaranteed not to change if I book a day? Will I be doing excursions with a group? Roughly how many people should I expect? Will I be the only English speaker? Can I bring a big suitcase with me? Will it fit in the transport? What time do I need to book my flight leaving Luxor? Will I be staying overnight on the cruise ship?
- Booking ToursOperator•Written July 2022
Tour departs on daily basis so if you confirm the date, the tour will depart, with a group or single, it's not affected, and all the itinerary is guaranteed. Group size may be till 55 person. Yes you can bring the suitcase with you and keep it on the bus. This is an English-speaking tour, so most of the travelers are English speaking. Yes, you have 3 overnights on the Nile Cruise ship, you can book your flight home for the last day in the evening time.

Asked on May 17th, 2022Does a 3 star hotel have its own private bathroom. Can I fly from Aswan to Tel Aviv at end of day 12. What does (single) mean in the 3 star hotel package for the 12 day tour.
- Booking ToursOperator•Written May 2022
This tour included 3* accommodation, with private shower and toilet, if you make reservation for single traveler, so we provide single private accommodation, this tour ends in Cairo, we don't provide international flights unfortunately.
