I will never book with Tour Radar again. There was so much we learned about how Tour Radar books/organizes the majority of our trip that every day was a new experience. For example, I asked about how many people were on the tour. I was told that there were 55 on the trip. I don't know where the other 53 people on the tour went, but we pretty much had a new guide, and driver everyday. No telling how much were out on daily tips for drivers/guides. We did see everything advertised on the tour but I hadn't ever been on a tour that was set up like Tour Radar uses.

We had great time. We got everything that was listed in the itinerary. The border procedures went smoothly. We paid the visa fees and border taxes beforehand. The coordinator of the Egypt part of the tour was always on top of everything. The tour guide in Aswan was outstanding. His name is Mo. He was the reason why we had a great experience in our Nile cruise. I recommend this tour.

Israel hotel TLV88 is terrible, no hotel staff onsite and I was locked inside the hotel by myself after restaurant closed and not opened until 9am when restaurant opens, so no breakfast until 9am. How could such hotel be suitable for such expensive tour? Booking tour not providing adequate info prior to trip re: eticket or flight info from Tel Aviv to Eilat or who was to transport me from Jordan tour to Egypt border. It was quite stressful requiring lots of international phone calls from by US cell. The Eghypt and Nile portion was better.

The good: Tours were wonderful, as were all the tour guides, drivers, and local support staff, except for a few annoyances. The bad: The back office. 1. Deceptive marketing for the Israel part: "After breakfast, a driver will be waiting at your hotel to take you to X." Reality: Well before breakfast is available, board a bus at a nearby hotel which takes many people to a central location along with other buses, where everyone switches to the bus going to their destination. 2. Terrible communication. Example: I was handed plane tickets for the Egypt flights which were extremely incompatible with the itinerary I'd been sent. They did not provide a new itinerary, or even a simple "we changed your itinerary" notification! And the return flight left at 11 PM, which was simply inexcusable -- they had many months of lead time in which to book me on one of the earlier flights.
