My trip was absolutely fantastic from start to finished. My trip was impeccably run by tour manager Dem, who was organised, kind, flexible and provided all the fun. Despite the brief stops in each location, I was able to get a taste of the culture with a an agenda that had the perfect mix of structure and time to explore. Trips on the coach were smooth, with amazing driver Raf behind the wheel. It was a pleasure to spend some down time with Raf and Dem and their knowledge and experience was incredible. The organisation was impressive and smooth which made the trip stress free

I'm planning to go on a trip to Europe before/on July 11. I have a Taiwanese Passport so I believe I don't need a visa to travel as a visitor since they are a part of the EU. I have a bad skin allergy, so I can't eat spicy food and dairy products. I also sleep with a cooling mattress.

Is the $5000 shared room or shared bed? Can I stay in a cool air conditioning place when the temperature is above 28 degrees? Where in London are we meeting on the first day? Where does it end? I have ApplePay, how much euro (cash) should I bring?

    • ContikiOperatorWritten July 2023

It may be difficult to stay in places with a certain weather degree as not all of our accommodation have air conditioning facilities. Do you have something portable or an alternative method of treating your eczema (cream/powders) that would suit as to not rely on air conditioning? Our trips in London start from the Royal National Hotel near Russell Square. They also end at the same location in London. I like to recommend approx. 100 euro per day as this would cover, food, drinks, spending money.

    • V

      Victor

      TravelerWritten July 2023

I do have a cream from the private doctor to maintain my skin even with a nice moderate temperature. When I'm at a hot place during the day I have to constantly find shades and bring an ice pack with me to cool my skin down. I'll bring my cooling blanket machine that would need to plug into an outlet nearby the bed. However, if the room is above 28 degrees then even with that machine it is still too hot. Which hotels do not have air conditioning? Are they in a cooler climate country? Italy is pretty hot, can you check if the hotel there has air conditioning? If not, is there an alternative?

    • ContikiOperatorWritten July 2023

The $5613 is for a triple share room, so you will be sharing with 2 other people of the same gender from your group in separate beds. The only thing we would be able to do is provide you with the hotel list, and you can check with them if they have air conditioning or if you can request to have that in your room.

    • V

I just booked a double shared room. Hotel lists sound good. Should I also talk to my tour guide first about my serious health condition?
