Itinerary
- Day 1
El Coca to Napo River Lodge
You'll board a motor boat canoe from El Coca and travel about an hour down the Napo River to reach your jungle lodge. Once you arrive, settle in with lunch before heading out on the Socali trail where you can see native plants and spot wildlife. Come back to the lodge for dinner and wind down for the evening.

- Day 2
Napo River Lodge
After breakfast, walk through the Capibara path across the swamps and look for palms and local wildlife. You'll have lunch, then spend time learning traditional blowpipe techniques from local experts. After that, try your hand at piranha fishing from a small canoe. Dinner happens back at the lodge, and then you'll take a nocturnal paddle through Sapococha lagoon where you can spot caimans and other night wildlife.

- Day 3
Napo River Lodge
Following breakfast, put on rubber boots and jungle attire for a canoe ride upriver. You'll see birds, butterflies, orchids, and amphibians along the way. Then trek the Dos Ramas trail to learn about medicinal plants while spotting birds and animals. Head back for lunch, and in the afternoon, check out the Tucan trail that leads to one of Ecuador's tallest jungle observation towers for canopy birdwatching. You'll return to the lodge for dinner.

Napo River Lodge to El Coca
After breakfast, board a motorboat canoe at the lodge and head back along the Napo River toward El Coca. The journey takes you through scenic natural surroundings as you say goodbye to the Amazon and make your way out.
