Once you arrive, you'll hike the Riverside Walk and then move into the Virgin River Narrows where you'll wade through clear water surrounded by towering red sandstone walls. Zion National Park

This day focuses on a demanding 8-mile hike that takes you up through switchbacks carved into red Navajo sandstone. You'll work your way into Echo Canyon, and the real payoff comes when you reach the viewpoint looking out over Zion Canyon and all its red rock formations. It's a solid day of hiking, so plan for a good 5 to 6 hours of trail time depending on your pace.

    Meals
    Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

    Included Activities

  3. Day 3

Zion to Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument via Bryce Canyon

You'll check out Boat Mesa, the Sinking Ship formation, Tower Bridge, China Wall, and Fairyland Canyon from different angles. After grabbing dinner somewhere near Bryce, you'll head out toward Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument for your next stop.

The falls themselves drop 128 feet, and yes, the water is cold, but swimming is definitely on the agenda. Lunch happens right there at the falls, and if you're up for it, Anasazi State Park near Boulder, UT is within reach before heading back to the lodge for dinner.

You'll grab lunch, then head into Spooky Canyon, which is narrow and dark and requires some creative sideways movement through tight spots. From there, Peek-a-Boo Canyon opens things up with interconnected potholes, arches, and little grottos to explore.
