Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival to Sigiriya
Your English-speaking tour leader will meet you at the airport and drive you toward Sigiriya. On the way, you'll stop at the Golden Cave Temple at Dambulla, which has some interesting rock carvings and Buddha statues. Depending on where the elephants are around, there's a chance you could do a 4x4 safari in the evening at one of the nearby national parks if timing works out.

- Day 2
Sigiriya to Kandy
Head out early to climb Sigiriya Rock and photograph the landscape before it gets too hot. After coming back down, grab breakfast at your hotel, then you'll drive to Kandy. Along the route, you'll see Nalanda Gedige, walk through the Matale Spice Garden, and check out the Gem Museum and Workshop. That evening, your city tour includes a Hindu temple, followed by the traditional Kandyan cultural dance performance and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

- Day 3
Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, you'll visit the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens in Kandy before heading to Nuwara Eliya. The drive takes you past Ramboda Falls, and you'll stop at a tea factory and spend time at a tea plantation to see how tea is grown and processed. By evening, you'll be settled in the hill country town of Nuwara Eliya for the night.

- Day 4
Nuwara Eliya to Ella
Following breakfast, you'll check out Gregory Lake and Victoria Park Garden. Later, you're heading to Ella to board the scenic panoramic train at 12:40 PM for a memorable ride through the highlands. Before dark, you'll climb Little Adam's Peak for views over the area, then settle in for the night in Ella.

- Day 5
Ella to Tissamaharama
You'll start the day visiting Rawana Waterfall and the Buduruwagala Rock Temple, then drive to Tissamaharama. Later that evening, get ready for a 4x4 safari at Yala National Park along the Indian Ocean coast, or if that's not available, you'll explore Udawalawe National Park instead. You'll stay overnight in Tissamaharama.

Tissamaharama to Mirissa
After breakfast, the drive takes you to Mirissa where you'll visit the snake farm. The rest of your evening is free to relax at your beachfront hotel and unwind from the traveling.

Mirissa
Your day starts very early, heading out at 6:30 AM for blue whale watching off the coast. You'll return to your hotel after that, then spend the rest of the day visiting Parrot Rock and catching the sunset from Coconut Tree Hill. The evening is yours to relax back at the beachfront hotel.

- Day 8
Departure from Mirissa
Have breakfast at your hotel before checking out. Depending on what time your flight leaves, you could visit the Sea Turtle Hatchery and Rescue Center, take a boat safari on the Madu River, or walk through the historic Galle Dutch Fort. Then you'll be transported to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure.
