Arrival
You'll arrive at the guesthouse and get briefed by your guide about what's coming up on the trek. After settling in, dinner's included so you can relax and prepare for the hiking ahead.

Pestera to Magura
This is a longer hiking day of 6 to 7 hours with moderate effort. You'll trek from the guesthouse through mountain villages to Pestera, then use the 'La table' junction to navigate through meadows and forests toward Piatra Craiului Mountain. There's an optional lunch stop at Curmatura chalet before descending to Zarnesti, finishing at Magura village guesthouse.

- Day 3
Magura to Fundata
After breakfast, you'll hike through authentic mountain villages including Magura, Pestera, Sirnea (Romania's first touristic village), and Fundata. You'll meet local residents along the way during this 4 to 6 hour trek of easy to medium difficulty. The day wraps up with a 1.5 km walk on the national road back to your guesthouse.

- Day 4
Fundata
Today's a more relaxed day with a leisurely walk on one of the ecotrails starting from Fundata village. Fundata sits at 1,360 m altitude, making it Romania's highest commune and surrounded by the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului Mountains. You'll be hiking for 3 to 4 hours of easy to medium difficulty.

Fundata to Moieciu de Sus
You'll trek from Fundata through open meadows with views of Bucegi Natural Park. Following ecotrails T3 and T8, the route heads toward Moieciu de Sus, passing the local church and climbing up to rocky formations called 'The Top of the Church' where you get panoramic views. After 4 to 5 hours of medium-effort hiking, you'll return to the Fundata guesthouse.

Bucegi Natural Park Trek to Brasov
A transfer gets you to the Bucegi Natural Park trailhead where you'll spend 5 to 6 hours hiking through forest roads and meadows. There's an optional detour to Devil Mill Waterfall, and you can stop at a sheep farm to taste locally-made cheese (extra cost, available June through September only). The route continues through meadows to the main forest road. If you're interested, there's an optional morning visit to Bran Castle before transferring to Brasov.

Seven Ladders Canyon Trek
Your final trekking day takes you to Seven Ladders Canyon in the Southern Carpathians. After a short transfer to Piatra Mare Mountain, you'll hike through meadows and forests for 45 minutes to reach this karstic gorge. The main part involves navigating across bridges and climbing near-vertical metal ladders past rushing waterfalls and towering rock walls. You can choose between a 1.5 hour return route or a longer 2 to 3 hour trail back through forests and glades to your meeting point and hotel.

Departure
