    · October 1st, 2025
The tour guide AnDre was excellent. He spoke both English and Italian and was always looking out for his group. He had knowledge of the places we visited. The resort style place for 3 nights had a lot of mosquitos due to all the vegetation surrounding the rooms. The food was somewhat mediocre to bad. Wines also not good. The food out on our day trip stops was about the same. I usually don't have 3 meals a day on my tours but based on where we were staying on this tour, there really was no other option to go out to eat on my own. The people on the tour were pleasant. The pace each day was perfect to see each town. I arrived in Bari the day ahead and I greatly enjoyed exploring the city on my own.

Rooms in Europe are not very large like North American standards, however, you will have a decent size room for Triple. The bedding arrangements vary by hotel. Some hotels will have 2 beds, some will have 3 single beds and some can have 1 bed with a sofa bed. Milan is not offered on this tour, due to the distance from the city. This tour ends in Sicily. I would recommend booking a flight from Catania back to Rome for the last day if you want to depart from Rome. Daily breakfast is included with a mix of buffet and continental depending on the hotel.
