- Katrina· July 30th, 2025Be forewarned that Omega Tours is a travel agent, not the actual tour operator, as this tour was run by a completely different tour company, and not everyone had used Omega tours to join it. There was a mix of native English, Spanish and Italian speakers on the tour. We had a smaller group (28-30 people) and at least 1/2 of them were English speaking. Our tour guide was good at getting information out in 3 languages, but it is very distracting to know when to tune in or tune out the speaker. It just takes longer when visiting sites. The actual itinerary was wonderful. It was a quick whirl around Sicily, and definitely fast paced. The bus was good, as it had a strong air conditioning when the temperatures were mostly >30C. The hotels were also generally good and the food provided was generally tasty.Show more
- Eugenie· July 18th, 2025We were on a 6-day tour from Rome with tour operator Carrani/ILoveRome/Gray Line on the LaDolceVita. This tour consisted of the Foodie Tour in the morning/Trevi Fountain, Vatican City, St Peter's Basilica in the afternoon. Staying at Hotel Diana for (2) nights then off to Sorrento staying at Grand Hotel Vesuvio which was amazing. Hotel overlooks the bay and Mt Vesuvius pool was outstanding, breakfast and dinner included and on Sunday they threw this bbq feast felt like we were at a wedding! Hotel booked us an evening shared trip to Positano spectacular dinner & shopping with stops along the way for magnificent cliff photos, all for 69 euros/person. The price was unbeatable as private drivers were $$$. On our way back to Rome, we stopped at Pompeii and did a nice visit around the ruins. Guides were great! They took all the guesswork out of the trip. Highly recommended!Show more

My mom is oxygen dependent and can't do vigorous walking without taking lots of breaks. Looking for a tour and company that can help us navigate that added difficulty.

Asked on April 21st, 2022Is the room bigger for three people? What is the bedding arrangement in a triple room? Can you add Milan to this itinerary? Can you set up a transfer back to Rome to fly out of Rome as well? What the breakfasts that are included? Are there additional fees, such as entrance fees etc that we are expected to pay upon arrival? What exactly is included, and what are the optional extras not included. Are most of the meals that are included in itinerary traditional italian food?

Rooms in Europe are not very large like North American standards, however, you will have a decent size room for Triple. The bedding arrangements vary by hotel. Some hotels will have 2 beds, some will have 3 single beds and some can have 1 bed with a sofa bed. Milan is not offered on this tour, due to the distance from the city. This tour ends in Sicily. I would recommend booking a flight from Catania back to Rome for the last day if you want to depart from Rome. Daily breakfast is included with a mix of buffet and continental depending on the hotel.

Daily breakfast is included plus an additional 15 meals (lunch or dinner, per the itinerary). All hotels are 4-star. Some hotels are near the city center some are in charming areas of the city. Please note that the hotel in Venice is in Mestre which is located on the mainland of Italy.
