Itinerary
- Day 1
Girona to Palamós
You'll meet your guide at Girona General Post Office at 8am and then head to Sant Feliu de Guíxols. The coastal walk starts from Puig de les Forques down to St. Pol beach, where you'll pass by Modernist houses before following the coastal trail through sandy beaches into Palamos. After checking into Hotel Trias, there's a wine tasting lined up followed by dinner at a local vineyard.

Palamós
Starting from Hotel Palamos, you'll make your way to Platja del Castell, an Iberian archaeological site dating back to the VI century BC. The route takes you through the pine-clad Natural Park of Castell-Cap Roig with its hidden coves and sandy beaches. Lunch happens in Calella de Palafrugell, a fishing village where you'll have free time to explore and swim. An optional short walk follows before you return to Hotel Trias. Dinner is on your own tonight.

Palamós to Begur
After a 30-minute drive to St. Sebastià Lighthouse for Mediterranean views, you'll hike down through lush forest to Cala Pedrosa, a remote beach. From there, the path continues along rocky terrain to Camí de Ronda, connecting to the Tamariu fishing neighborhood. A homemade picnic lunch and swimming time happen at Platja Aiguablava. Later you'll proceed to the bay of Fornells and the Medieval town of Begur, where the afternoon is free to explore the colonial indianos buildings on your own. Dinner is at your leisure.

Begur to Cadaqués
You'll set out on foot following quiet inland tracks through La Selva dense pine forest, then walk through cultivated farmlands to reach Pals, an important historic-artistic site with narrow cobbled streets inside this walled Medieval enclosure. The route continues through back roads to the villages of Palau-Sator and Peratallada where you'll grab lunch on your own. After that, it's a 1.5-hour drive up the coastline to Cadaques, followed by a walk to Sol Ixent hotel at Punta da Bou Marí. Dinner is together at the hotel.

Cadaqués to Port de la Selva
A short transfer takes you to the trailhead in Natural Parc of Cap de Creus. You'll hike through dramatically rocky landscape that inspired Salvador Dali's work, heading inland then back to the coast through the Natural Park while following part of the GR-11 marked trail with its white and red stripes. The day ends in Port de la Selva, a quiet little village by the sea, where you'll have dinner at a local restaurant.

Port de la Selva to Figueres
This is your last walk, heading on foot alongside the Mediterranean Sea on a gentle trail with sweeping vistas of the France border from dramatic headland Cerbère and inland along the Pyrenees. You'll climb final steps to reach the fishing port Llanção. After lunch in town, there's a coach transfer for a self-guided visit to St. Pere de Rodes monastery, featuring exceptional Romanesque architecture and an important Medieval pilgrimage site where the Catalan Camino de Santiago departs. Then you'll transfer to Figueres hotel to prepare for the farewell dinner.
