Itinerary
- Day 1
Bogotá
You'll arrive at Bogotá airport and head to your hotel in the colonial old town. After checking in, settle into the area and get oriented with the neighborhood.
- Day 2
Bogotá
Start the day by visiting a local market to try regional foods and get a feel for daily life here. From there, walk through the colonial old town and see Plaza de Bolívar, La Candelaria, and the churches of San Francisco and La Tercera. A cable car takes you up Monserrate mountain for views across the city, then you'll have the late afternoon free to wander the colonial alleyways on your own.

Bogotá to Coffee Zone
After breakfast, you'll check out the Gold Museum with its 30,000 pre-Columbian pieces. Then it's time to head to the airport for a flight across the central Andes to the coffee zone. In the afternoon, you arrive at a coffee hacienda where you'll learn how beans are grown, picked, and processed.

Coffee Zone to Puerto Viejo de Limón
Drive into Cocora Valley to see the towering wax palms that reach up to 60 meters high. You'll do a short hike to get around and see them up close, then head to the colorful village of Salento with its traditional buildings, cafes, and local craft shops. Later in the afternoon, you'll drive toward the Caribbean coast and reach Puerto Viejo de Limón, where you can spend time on the beach.

Puerto Viejo de Limón to Medellín
Drive along the coffee highway through green mountain landscapes heading toward Medellín. Your hotel sits in El Poblado, the modern district filled with good restaurants, bars, and shops where you can explore on your own.

Medellín
Today you'll tour Medellín, known as the city of eternal spring because of its warm weather year-round. See San Antonio Park, San Ignacio Square, Avenida La Playa, and the Coltejer building in the city center. You'll also check out a sculpture park with over 20 pieces by Fernando Botero, and head to Pueblito Paisa, a replica of a typical village from the Antioquia region with great views over the city.

Medellín to Cartagena
After breakfast, you'll head to Medellín airport and fly to Cartagena on the Caribbean coast, arriving in under an hour. From there, transfer to your hotel in the old town. In the afternoon, start exploring Cartagena's sights including the La Popa monastery and the fortress of San Felipe de Barajas, the largest Spanish military structure built in their colonies. You'll walk through the old town to see the most beautiful squares, churches, and streets.
