Kathmandu to Bulebule
Start early from Kathmandu and drive to Besisahar on well-maintained roads. Once you arrive, take a 2-hour walk to Bulebule near the Marsyangdi River to help your body adjust after the long bus ride.

Bulebule to Chamje
Your first trekking day takes you across suspension bridges, past waterfalls and rice paddies through forested areas. You'll walk alongside the Marsyangdi Khola with rocky hills surrounding you and bee hives visible on cliff faces before reaching Chamje for the night.

Chamje to Bagarchhap
Trek through narrow steep valleys covered in rhododendron, pine and bamboo forests. Mountain bridges connect sections with quick climbs that open into wider valleys. After passing through Tal village and farms growing barley, wheat and potatoes, you'll reach Dharapani and then Bagarchhap.

Bagarchhap to Chame
From Bagarchhap, head to Danaque village with steep climbs to a Tamang settlement that offers views of Manaslu, Lamjung and Annapurna. You'll pass through a Tibetan-style village as you transition between lowlands and higher terrain, then follow a gradual flat section through Thanchowk and Kolo before arriving at Chame.

Chame to Pisang
Trek through Chame's older areas and climb to Telekhu, then take a long leveled forest path to Brathang. Cross the Marsyangdi River on a suspension bridge, trek over a pine-forested ridge with gentle ascents, and reach Pisang in the upper Manang valley.

Pisang to Manang
Walk from Pisang to Braga, a Tibetan-style village with stacked houses creating natural verandas. Check out the main Gompa with its collection of statues on a high crag above the village. Then continue on to Manang where you'll refresh and stay the night.

Manang
Spend this acclimatization day in Manang's natural setting. In the afternoon, you have the option to take a short hike up to Khangsar to help your body adjust to higher elevations and reduce altitude sickness risk.

Manang to Yak Kharka or Letdar
Trek past tall trees that gradually transition to alpine grass and junipers. You'll reach meadows where horses and yaks graze. Choose between staying at the peaceful Yak Kharka surrounded by meadows and steep slopes, or walk an additional hour to reach Letdar.

Landmarks/POIs Yak Kharka Letdar - Day 9
Letdar to Thorung Phedi
Trek to Letdar for more acclimatization at higher elevations. Climb along the east bank of Jarang Khola to reach Thorung Phedi, a meadow enclosed by vertical cliffs. Watch for blue sheep and snow leopards in the area, with frequent sightings of Lammergeyers and griffons.

Thorung Phedi to Muktinath
Make the long 7-8 hour trek across a centuries-old trail used for trading sheep, yaks and goods. Reach Thorung La pass after about 6 hours to see Annapurna, Gangapurna and Khatungkang. Descend 1600m with Dhaulagiri visible in the distance, then trek through grassy fields to reach Muktinath, a sacred site for Hindus and Buddhists.

Muktinath to Jomsom
From Muktinath, follow the Jomsom trek route and descend through meadows, streams and fruit trees to reach Kagbeni and its old village. Continue downward through the Kali Gandaki valley to arrive at Jomsom.

Marpha to Kalopani
Trek from Marpha to Kalopani on a newer trail past Chokhopani, a traditional Thakali village. Take in panoramic Himalayan views including Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri, Tukuche and Annapurna. Cross a river and a newly built road before reaching Kalopani.

Tatopani to Ghorepani
Trek from Tatopani through midland Nepal villages with terraced and sloping farmlands. Hike upward past rhododendron, magnolia and local vegetation. Reach Ghorepani in the evening with mountain views visible in the sky before settling in for an early night before Poonhill.

Landmarks/POIs Tatopani Ghorepani - Day 14
Ghorepani to Pokhara
Head out early and climb to Poonhill for sunrise, a spot known for photography with unforgettable views of snow-capped Annapurna and Dhaulagiri lit by golden rays. After capturing photos, return to Ghorepani for breakfast, then trek down steep sections through terraced fields to Nayapul. Drive from there to Pokhara (6-7 hours).

Pokhara to Kathmandu
Drive from Pokhara back to Kathmandu after time in the city exploring its natural and cultural sites. The 6-7 hour drive returns you to the capital where you can rest or check out tourist attractions.
