Itinerary
- Day 1
Entebbe/Kampala to Bwindi National Park
Your pickup starts at 7:30 AM from either Entebbe or downtown Kampala, then you'll drive through western Uganda's main towns heading toward Bwindi National Park. The drive takes about 8 to 9 hours, passing through Masaka, Mbarara, and Kabale. You'll stop at the Equator crossing to grab coffee and look at local handicrafts, then head to Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara where lunch is a buffet with local dishes. By evening you'll arrive at Bwindi for dinner and settle in for the night.

Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, you'll head to the Bwindi National Park gate for a pre-trek briefing with your national park guide. They'll explain what to expect and introduce you to your trek group, which usually includes other visitors. The gorilla trek itself can last anywhere from a few hours to most of the day, depending on where the gorillas are located in the forest. You'll return to your accommodation for dinner and spend another night at Bwindi.

Landmarks Bwindi National Park - Day 3
Bwindi National Park to Kampala/Entebbe
Following an early breakfast, you'll start driving back toward Kampala or Entebbe from Bwindi National Park. The return trip includes a lunch stop at Igongo Cultural Centre near Mbarara city, then later you'll stop at the Equator crossing again for coffee and more shopping time before continuing back to your starting point.
