Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Antananarivo
The team meets you at Ivato airport and drives you to the hotel, which takes about 40 minutes covering 18 km. Once there you'll get settled in, receive a briefing on your program and travel documents, then have dinner at the hotel.

Antananarivo to Andasibe
After meeting your team at the hotel, you head toward Andasibe on a 5 hour drive covering 145 km. Along the way you'll stop at Marozevo to see the Peyrieras reserve with endemic chameleons, snakes, frogs, lizards, crocodiles and lemurs. Lunch happens at a local restaurant, then you continue on to Périnet and arrive in the afternoon. You'll settle into your hotel and later that evening take a night visit to Andasibe National Park to look for nocturnal lemurs like microcebus, plus chameleons, frogs and birds.

Andasibe National Park
This morning you head out to watch the park's best bird species including the Madagascar pond heron, Madagascar coucal, kingfisher, Madagascan Pratincole and others. Walking through the forest, you'll look for both birds and the Indri-indri, spotting species like the Chabert Vanga, Pitta-like Ground Roller, Red-shouldered Vanga and more.

- Day 4
Analamazaotra National Park and Vakôna Reserve
In the morning you visit Analamazaotra National Park to see various bird species including the Madagascar starling, scaly ground roller, crested ibis, Ward's flycatcher and others. Later in the afternoon you explore the private Vakôna Reserve with its museum, crocodile lake, reptiles, frogs, endemic plants, aviary and mini-park that has lemur islets.

Andasibe to Antananarivo
After breakfast you start your return to Antananarivo on a 5 hour drive covering 145 km. Depending on your flight time, you might get the chance to walk through the city center, check out the craft market and upper city, see the Queen's Palace and take in the views. You'll have dinner and a final meeting with your team, then spend part of the day at the hotel before heading to the airport for your flight.
