Las Vegas
You'll arrive in Las Vegas and check into Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The property captures that City of Lights vibe with its distinctive architecture and energy. This evening, you'll sit down for a welcome dinner with wine alongside other travelers on the tour, so it's a good chance to meet everyone before heading out into the desert landscapes over the next several days.

Las Vegas to Zion National Park to Bryce Canyon
From Vegas, you're heading to Zion National Park in Utah. Start at the Visitor Center to get oriented, then board a narrated tram that takes you through Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. You'll see towering sandstone cliffs and the Virgin River as it winds through the canyon. After the tram ride, you'll continue on to Bryce Canyon Lodge for a two-night stay right inside the park, so no need to drive back out each evening.

Bryce Canyon
Today focuses on Bryce Canyon's hoodoos, those tall, colorful rock formations that look totally different from what you see elsewhere. Your Travel Director walks through how wind and erosion shaped these unique pillars. You can opt for a one-hour horseback ride through Dixie National Forest if you want to get up close with ancient Bristlecone Pines. As evening comes, you'll watch the hoodoos shift color during sunset, then head to dinner for three courses with wine.

Bryce Canyon to Grand Staircase-Escalante to Capitol Reef
You'll travel through Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument today, moving across five different life zones that go from desert all the way to forest. Along the way, learn about the Ancestral Puebloan and Fremont peoples who lived here centuries ago. Then you continue to Capitol Reef National Park to check out colorful canyons, ridges, and those white sandstone cliffs that make the park distinctive. It's a solid day of driving and taking in scenery.

Capitol Reef to Arches to Canyonlands to Moab
Head to Arches National Park first to see the stone arches, including the Windows Section and Double Arch. From there, drive to Canyonlands National Park and explore Island in the Sky, a mesa that sits 1,000 feet above the surrounding terrain with big views of the Colorado River stretching out below. Tonight you'll do a Dine-Around, which means you get to pick from several local restaurants instead of one group dinner.

Moab to Durango to Mesa Verde
This afternoon, take time walking through Durango's historic streets before heading to Mesa Verde National Park. The park protects some of the best-preserved Ancestral Puebloan archaeological sites in the country. You'll see Cliff Palace, which is the largest cliff dwelling here, and learn that about 600 historic cliff dwellings exist throughout the park. You'll spend the night at Mesa Verde, so you're staying right there inside the park boundaries.

Mesa Verde to Monument Valley
You're heading to Monument Valley today, that iconic red rock landscape. You'll travel in an open-air off-road vehicle out to a cookout site where you'll meet members of the Navajo Nation. Dinner features traditional Navajo fry bread and tacos cooked over a fire, and you'll experience traditional dance and songs while surrounded by those red rocks. It's one of those experiences where you're really connecting with the landscape and the people who live there.

Monument Valley
Start the day exploring Mystery Valley with a local Navajo guide. This area's normally closed to the public, so you'll see Anasazi ruins and rock art that most visitors never get access to. Walk past petroglyphs, geological formations, and scattered pottery shards. Later, you'll board more off-road vehicles to tour Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park and visit John Wayne's Cabin at Goulding's Lodge, where all those classic Hollywood Westerns were filmed.

Monument Valley to Cameron to Grand Canyon
You'll start at Cameron Trading Post, established in the early 1900s, where you can browse Navajo jewelry, baskets, pottery and art. Then head to Desert View for one of the best Grand Canyon vistas, looking from the Puebloan-style Watchtower decorated with Hopi artist murals. After arriving at Grand Canyon National Park, choose between hiking the Rim Trail or joining local expert Canyon Tim for a geology talk about the canyon's rocks, plants, animals and wildlife. End with a three-course dinner and wine while watching the sunset.

Grand Canyon to Las Vegas
You'll wake up with the Grand Canyon as your backdrop and have quiet time before the day-trippers show up. If you're interested, there's an optional helicopter flight offering aerial views over the canyon. Then you head to Las Vegas International Airport for your departure. If you're staying longer, there's a complimentary transfer to your Las Vegas hotel for additional nights you've booked.
