Antananarivo
You'll land at Antananarivo airport and take about a 20-minute drive to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and maybe get a feel for Madagascar's capital at your own pace.

Antananarivo to Antsiranana
After flying to Antsiranana, you'll head to the Three Bays area with Sakalava Bay, Pigeon Bay, and Dune Bay. You can walk along white sand beaches, watch for sea birds and turtles, and climb the dunes to take in views across the Indian Ocean.

Joffre Ville
You'll drive to Joffre Ville and spend time in Amber Mountain National Park, which gets more rain than most forests on the island. There you can look for 7 lemur species, the tiny Nosy Hara leaf chameleon, plus various birds, reptiles, and amphibians.

Ankarana
This is a long travel day. You'll spend 2.5 hours driving on unpaved dirt roads in a 4WD vehicle to reach Tsingy Rouge, where you'll see unusual eroded laterite pinnacles in ochre tones. After that, another 5-hour drive gets you to Ankarana for check-in.

Ankarana
You'll hike through Ankarana National Park all day, covering 18,000 hectares of limestone forest with caves, underground rivers, and deep canyons. Keep an eye out for 11 lemur species, 92 bird species, and nearly half of Madagascar's bat species living here.

Ankify to Nosy Be Island
You'll drive 2.5 hours to Ankify Harbor and then board a shared speedboat to Nosy Be Island. Called the Perfumed Island because of its ylang-ylang flowers, it's Madagascar's main beach destination with plenty of local culture to explore.

Nosy Be Island
You have another full day to yourself. If you want to do something, consider visiting Lokobe Strict Reserve on a small island to see black lemurs and boa constrictors, or tour the large ylang-ylang essential oil processing plant that supplies to major fragrance brands.

Nosy Be to Antananarivo
You'll fly back to Antananarivo and get picked up from Ivato International Airport for a transfer to your hotel. This gives you time to settle in before the next part of your trip.

Antananarivo to Andasibe
You'll drive about 4 hours toward Andasibe with a stop at Reserve Peyrieras Madagascar Exotic, a private wildlife shelter. There you can see over 20 chameleon species, golden-tailed geckos, sifaka lemurs, and common brown lemurs.

Andasibe
In the morning you'll explore Analamazaotra National Park to spot Indri Indri, the largest lemur species alive today. After lunch you'll head to Vakona Reserve on Lemurs Island for close-up lemur encounters. By evening, you'll visit Andasibe Village and its marketplace to see how local Malagasy people live.

Andasibe to Antananarivo
You'll spend the morning in Voimma Forest, a small untouched area where you can find endangered Golden Mantella frogs, long-eared owls, grey bamboo lemurs, and endemic orchids. After that, you'll drive back to Antananarivo and check into your hotel.
