Marrakech
After landing at Menara Airport, you'll be picked up and driven to your accommodation in Marrakech. Since arrival times vary, you'll have the afternoon and evening to settle in and rest up after your flight.

Marrakech to Ait Ben Haddou
Meet your guide at 8:00 am to explore Bahia Palace and El Badi Palace, then walk through the UNESCO Medina and its souks. Following lunch (you choose where), you'll head south through the High Atlas Mountains and Tichka Pass, stopping at Kasbah Telouet before reaching Ait Ben Haddou by early evening.

Ait Ben Haddou to Dades
After breakfast, take a guided walk around the UNESCO Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Then travel into the Dades Valley with its palms and kasbahs, visiting Skoura Oasis and Kasbah Amridil. You'll have lunch on the way before arriving at Dades Gorge in the late afternoon.

Dades to Merzouga
Start with a roughly 2-hour guided walk at Todra Gorge, then grab refreshments at a local cafe. Continue to Rissani spice market town for lunch (Saharan Berber pizza or village food), exploring the historic market on foot. By late afternoon you'll reach Merzouga with free time at your hotel overlooking the dunes.

Merzouga
Morning 4x4 tour takes you through desert piste and village settlements where you'll meet Gnawa musicians. Lunch happens at your hotel or a Saharan village. The afternoon offers choices like quad biking, walking, or relaxing. Later you'll meet camel guides for roughly an hour riding into desert camp, watch the sunset, optionally climb a dune, and experience traditional Saharan hospitality with food, fires, and drumming.

Desert Camp to Zagora
If you're up for it, rise early to climb dunes for sunrise. After breakfast, camel rides take you back to Merzouga before a 4x4 transfers you through the remote Saghro Mountains, passing villages from the film Babel. Lunch in a mountain village, then arrival in Zagora mid to late afternoon. Stop by Zagora Palmerie to see traditional Saharan silversmiths, with an optional sunset camel ride.

Zagora to Taliouine
Meet your guide after breakfast for a walking introduction to Zagora. You'll journey through the palm-lined Draa Valley and earth villages, visiting Agdz Palmerie and Kasbah Tamnougalt. Lunch with panoramic views happens in Agdz Palmerie. After that, head to Tazenakht (carpet-making hub) and the mountain village of Taliouine to visit a saffron cooperative before settling at your accommodation.

Taliouine to Asni
After breakfast, you'll cross Tizi n'Test Pass, one of Morocco's most iconic mountain routes with dramatic High Atlas views. Stop for lunch in a traditional Berber village, then continue to Asni in the High Atlas foothills. Arriving mid to late afternoon leaves you free to relax or walk around the mountain area.

Asni to Marrakech
Meet your trekking guide after breakfast and head out for a morning trek through the High Atlas with traditional lunch served in the mountains. The afternoon brings you back toward Marrakech with a stop at peaceful Lake Takerkoust. You'll arrive at your riad late afternoon and can spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring Marrakech's streets. Dinner is on your own so you can try local restaurants.

Marrakech Departure
Your departure timing depends on your flight. Leaving Marrakech means you'll head to Menara Airport roughly 45 minutes from your accommodation, arriving with at least 2 hours 30 minutes before departure. If flying from Casablanca, allow 3 hours for the drive plus 2 hours 30 minutes for check-in and security. Take home memories and friendships from your journey.
