Flight to Victoria Falls
Your journey starts with an international flight departing Frankfurt and heading toward Victoria Falls. You'll be traveling overnight, so expect to arrive the following day after crossing several time zones.

Victoria Falls
A driver picks you up from the airport and takes you directly to your lodge. After the overnight flight, you'll have the rest of the day to settle in and recover from travel.

Victoria Falls
This is your chance to see Victoria Falls up close. You can walk right up to the falls and really take in the sound, sight, and power of the water dropping down. The afternoon and evening are free for you to do as you like around the area.

Landmarks Victoria Falls - Day 4
Victoria Falls to Kasane
You'll be driven to Kasane, which sits at the edge of Chobe National Park and is known for having huge elephant populations. After arriving at your lodge just outside town, you can relax and watch for warthogs and baboons on the grounds. Dinner happens at the lodge, and you'll get a chance to prepare mentally for safari the next day.

Landmarks Chobe National Park - Day 5
Kasane
Start with a jeep safari through Chobe National Park where you'll see elephants and other wildlife. The photos you get will be worth the early morning. After lunch back at the lodge, you'll head out on the river in a boat, passing hippos and crocodiles. Dinner wraps up your full day in the park.

Landmarks Chobe National Park - Day 6
Kasane to Savuti
After breakfast, drive into the remote Savuti area of southern Chobe, a remote region with wide open plains and lots of predators. You'll do game drives in the morning and afternoon looking for elephants, kudus, leopards, and if you're lucky, the famous lion prides. At night you'll stay in a tented camp and have a multi-course dinner by the campfire.

Landmarks Savuti Chobe National Park - Day 7
Savuti
Another full day in Savuti starts early with open vehicle game drives. Look for elephant herds at water holes and lions in the grass. Lunch happens at the camp surrounded by the landscape. As the sun drops, the whole region turns red and orange. Finish the day with dinner in the open air around the fire.

Landmarks Savuti - Day 8
Savuti to Moremi Game Reserve
After breakfast, you'll travel through Botswana's wild areas in an open 4x4, crossing through bush, grassland, and seasonal water channels while spotting elephants along the way. A picnic stops the journey partway through. By evening you'll reach a camp on private land near the Moremi Reserve, where a prepared dinner waits.

Landmarks Moremi Game Reserve - Day 9
Moremi Game Reserve
Today you'll explore Moremi Game Reserve in the Okavango Delta, which has different landscapes like savannah, forests, lagoons, and papyrus areas. Your guide will take you out to spot wildlife. A picnic in the middle of nature breaks up the day before you search for animal tracks in the afternoon. Dinner happens back at your accommodation.

Landmarks Moremi Game Reserve Okavango Delta - Day 10
Moremi Game Reserve to Okavango Delta
The landscape shifts from dry bush to the water-filled Okavango Delta. Your lodge sits right on the delta's edge with comfortable tented rooms and good views. On your first game drive, you'll move through palm-dotted areas and see giraffes, elephants, antelopes, and possibly big cats. An atmospheric dinner at the lodge ends the day.

Landmarks Okavango Delta - Day 11
Okavango Delta
In the morning, get into a traditional mokoro and glide through reed channels past water lilies and birds. You might see antelopes on the banks. Lunch happens back at the lodge. In the afternoon you can either take a boat trip (water levels permitting) or do a game drive through drier areas. As evening comes, enjoy drinks while the sun lights the delta gold.

Landmarks Okavango Delta - Day 12
Okavango Delta to Maun
Today you have options. Either drive with the group across Botswana to Maun, or take an optional helicopter flight to see the delta from above. The helicopter gives you a completely different view of the landscape. Later you'll be in Maun, a lively town on the delta's edge, where you can think back on what you've experienced.

Maun to Johannesburg
After breakfast, head to Maun airport for a flight to Johannesburg where your return flight home departs. You'll arrive in Germany the following day after the long journey back.
