Sanur
Spend your morning in Ubud checking out the monkey forest, art museum, and the royal palace grounds. The Ubud market lets you experience local handicrafts and the energy of the place. Your afternoon is free to do whatever you want - walk around the village, rest, or explore further.

Arrival in Yogyakarta
Your guide meets you when you arrive in Yogyakarta and gives you a quick orientation around the city before you head to the hotel to settle in. Later in the evening, you'll have dinner with your group as everyone gets ready for the Java and Bali experiences coming up.

Sanur
This day is completely yours to enjoy. Swim in the ocean, lay on the beach, relax at your resort, or search for souvenirs around town. No scheduled activities means you set the pace.

Yogyakarta
Spend the morning on a city tour checking out the Sultan's Palace and Taman Sari water palace. The afternoon takes you to Prambanan temple complex, a major Hindu temple site and UNESCO World Heritage Site that really shows the region's religious significance.

Borobudur to Malang
An early train takes you to Jombang in East Java, and from there you drive to Trowulan to visit the archaeological museum. You'll also walk through Candi Bajang Ratu and Candi Tikus temples to see what's left of this ancient settlement.

Malang to Bromo Tengger National Park
Take a rickshaw tour through Malang's old colonial city center, then drive through landscape toward Bromo Tengger National Park. The mountain air feels different up here, and you'll stay close by so that tomorrow's sunrise doesn't require an early start from far away.

Mount Bromo Sunrise and Kalibaru
Early morning brings you out to watch sunrise light up Bromo, Batok, and Semeru volcanoes from their best angles. You travel by off-road vehicle across the sandy caldera and can either hike or ride horses to the crater rim of Bromo itself. Once you return and clean up, you continue to Kalibaru village, which centers around coffee and cocoa plantations in the area.

Kalibaru to Bali
Walk leisurely through Kalibaru learning about how the local plantation economy works, and the day ends with a coffee tasting. From there you head to Ketapang port and take a ferry across to Bali, ending the day in Pemuteran.

Pemuteran to Umabian
Drive through tropical vegetation and rice fields to reach Lake Bratan, a volcanic crater lake with its own character. Stop at Ulun Danu Temple, one of Bali's most important shrines, then continue to Umabian village surrounded by rice fields where you can properly relax.

Umabian to Sanur
Visit Gunung Kawi's royal monuments to learn stories about Balinese kings, then see Pura Tirta Empul with its intricate water pools for purification ceremonies. You'll drive to Kintamani for views of Mount Batur volcano and its lake, stop by the Mother Temple Besakih on Mount Agung's slope (the most important pilgrimage site for Hindu Balinese), and finish at a beach hotel in Sanur.

Ubud
This morning focuses on rice cultivation. You'll walk through rice fields with a local farmer who explains traditional growing methods and why rice matters so much here. After lunch, drive to Mengwi to see Taman Ayun temple with its grand Balinese architecture. The day ends with a sunset visit to Tanah Lot sea temple on the south coast.

Start by visiting a traditional batik factory to see how this important Indonesian handicraft is made. Then you'll head to Candirejo village and take a horse-drawn carriage around to experience the local way of life. After eating lunch, drive to Borobudur temple complex, another UNESCO World Heritage Site that dominates the landscape.

Spend your last bit of time at the beach or pool relaxing, then head to the airport to begin your journey back to Europe.
