Itinerary
- Day 1
Venice
You'll arrive in Venice on your own and get settled into your hotel. After you've had time to rest from travel, your tour guide will take you and the other travelers to a traditional Venetian trattoria for dinner. It's a good chance to meet everyone in the group and hear what you'll be doing over the next few days.

Venice
Following breakfast, you'll take a guided walk through Venice's center with stops at St. Mark's Square to see the Basilica and Doge's Palace. From there, you'll head to the Rialto district to check out the famous bridge and market stalls. Later in the afternoon, you'll watch craftspeople make traditional Venetian carnival masks by hand, then tour a gondola shipyard to learn how these iconic boats are built.

Murano - Burano
This morning brings a guided stroll through San Polo, where you'll walk narrow streets and find hidden courtyards. You'll go into the Frari Church to see works by Titian and Bellini, then head to the Scuola Grande di San Rocco for Tintoretto paintings. After lunch, you'll take a vaporetto across the lagoon to Murano and Burano. You can spend time wandering the brightly painted houses and watching glassmakers work.

In the morning, you'll visit the island of San Giorgio with your guide and climb the church tower for views across Venice. The afternoon is yours to do what you want. You might check out the Gallerie dell'Accademia for Venetian art, explore more of the Doge's Palace, take a gondola ride through canals, or grab wine and appetizers at a local bacari.
