- CCJ· October 21st, 2024I booked the Venice, Florence, Rome: signature (4* hotels) low carbon tour by train package with Meet and Greet Italy through TourRadar. The travel agency was responsive and patient with all of my questions. They arranged all of my hotels, train travel, and some activities in Italy, and everything went seamlessly. The only suggestion I will make is the companies for sightseeing/activities need to make it clear in the directions when a voucher needs to be exchanged for a ticket. Otherwise, I had a fantastic trip and am completely satisfied.Show moreTrip date: October 2024

- CMConnie· January 17th, 2020My family and I enjoyed visiting Italy. There were a few hiccups on the way -- one was that the train from Florence to Rome did not complete its destination. We had to take a cab from the station we were left at to get to Rome on time and the second thing was our tour of the Colosseum -- we went on a guided tour but apparently not the one we were supposed to be on. Also it was unclear what to do if trouble arose. We did not have a contact number for the agency.Show moreMeet and Greet Italy commented on this reviewDear Connie, we are sorry to receive this complaint. We are aware that that day ytour train was soo late, but it was something that is not under our control. Unfortunately it has been a problem caused by the train company and we did not have the... - Denise· November 13th, 2019The High Speed train was good, accommodation was all of a great standard and generally good locations - Rome and Venice were easy walking distance to the train station even with luggage. Venice accommodation was right on the Grande Canal and close to shops, cafes and ferry terminus. Included tours were all good with excellent tour guides.Show moreMeet and Greet Italy commented on this reviewDear Denise, thanks for your comments. We are happy that you are happy! We hope to welcome you to Italy again. Best regards EdmondoTrip date: October 2019
- karen· October 14th, 2019I liked the fact that it was semi-independent. My issue was basically logistics. I would have liked to have had more info on how to get to the accommodations. For example: when arriving in Venice it would have been helpful to know the different ways of getting to our hotel---bus, train, taxi etc. A little more guidance would have been helpful. As far as accommodations went, all the hotels were great. I would have preferred the hotel in Florence to be closer to the activities. Being on the other side of the Arno river proved to be quite a walk. Someone with small children or a stroller would have had problems.Show moreMeet and Greet Italy commented on this reviewDear Mrs Sarro, it’s a pleasure to hear you. Thank you for your message and we’re sorry if you had some difficulties during your tour. For me and our whole team is important to improve our tours thanks to your feedback. - OOpalHustins· October 2nd, 2019In point form, these are our thoughts: - tours were crowded, we felt a bit pushed and panicked at getting separated from the group - extremely historically informative tours, very knowledgeable guides - as a slower paced tourist, Colleen found she missed out on some of the tour information as she was slower to reach each stop. Suggest the tour be more explicit on the amount of walking required and a level of health or specific to age group tour. The length of the individual tours were a bit tiring for most. - the tour left us in awe. An overwhelming feeling of wow, to be standing in spots where others have stood, fought and died many centuries ago. Left us with an appreciation of life and how far humanity has come. - we certainly did eat and drink our way through Italy - the hotels in Venice, Florence, Rome were centrally located which allowed our free time with close, walking access to most amenities and sites. However, the Hotel Towers in ‘Sorrento’, although beautiful scenery, was not centrally located, in our opinion. It left us feeling isolated and at the mercy of the amenities of the specific hotel only. We could not walk to shopping or other eateries. - hotels themselves were adequate...suggestion, being such a wine based area, each hotel room should be equipped with wine glasses and wine bottle openers lol. - there are no regrets on this tour, Elizabetta was extremely accommodating and very patient. Went over and beyond by even helping us plan our free days. Her suggestions for eateries and saving $$ was more than welcomed.Show moreTrip date: October 2019
