- Day 1
Arrival in La Paz
You'll arrive at La Paz airport where your guide and driver meet you for the 25-minute transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day adjusting to the high altitude at your own pace. La Paz sits at about 11,900 feet, so it's a good idea to take things easy and let your body acclimate.

La Paz City Tour
This morning you'll start exploring La Paz's main attractions. Walk through the Colonial section to see the historic architecture, then head to Mirador Killi Killi for views of the city. After that, you'll check out Moon Valley with its otherworldly rock formations. Later, ride the cable car system for different perspectives of the city, then finish at Witches' Market before heading back to your hotel.

Copacabana and Isla del Sol
Start early with a 3.5-hour drive to Copacabana on Lake Titicaca. From there, take a boat to Isla del Sol and have lunch. You'll visit Pilkokaina Temple to see the Inca ruins, then climb the Escalera del Inca steps up to a natural spring locals call 'Eternal Youth.' Check in at your hotel on the island for the night.

Copacabana and Return to La Paz
After breakfast, you'll return by boat to Copacabana and spend time at the Basilica of Our Lady, a 16th-century shrine dedicated to the Virgen de Copacabana. Grab lunch, then it's the 3.5-hour drive back to La Paz. You'll be back at your hotel by early evening.

La Paz to Uyuni Salt Flats
Transfer to La Paz airport for a 50-minute flight to Uyuni. Your local guide and driver will meet you there. You'll visit Colchani Village to see salt-related crafts and textiles, then stop at the Salt Museum. Next, explore Isla Incahuasi in the center of Salar de Uyuni, where giant cacti cover the island. Drive about 1 hour 45 minutes to your hotel.

Head south through Salar de Uyuni toward the Chile border, passing through several lagoons including Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota, and Honda where pink flamingos gather. You'll cross through Siloli Desert and see unusual rock formations along the way. By late afternoon, arrive at the Red Lagoon.

Sol de Mañana Geyser and Laguna Verde
Depart around 5 am with breakfast packed for a 2 to 2.5 hour drive covering 150 km to Sol de Mañana Geyser. At about 5,000 meters elevation, this is the highest point of your trip. Spend time at the geyser area and soak in the sulphur springs. Drive 50 minutes to Salvador Dali Desert and visit Laguna Verde at the base of Licancabur Volcano. The return to Uyuni takes about 6 hours and covers 350 km, including a stop at Valley of the Rocks.

Uyuni to La Paz and Tiwanaku Ruins
Transfer to Uyuni airport and fly back to La Paz. Once you arrive, your guide and driver take you on a 1.5-hour drive to Tiwanaku Ruins, home to some of the world's largest pre-Columbian city remains. See the carved monoliths, archways, and arcades, then check out the two museums. Return to your La Paz hotel.
