Lima
Your English-speaking guide meets you at Lima airport and takes you to your hotel for check-in. It's a straightforward arrival with transport included so you can settle in and adjust to the time zone.

Lima to Cusco
After breakfast, take a guided tour through Lima's historic center, walking through San Martin Plaza and Plaza de Armas. You'll see the Monastery of San Francisco and spend time at the Larco Museum looking at pottery and gold and silver handicrafts. Then head to the airport for your flight to Cusco, where a driver picks you up and takes you to your hotel.

Cusco to Aguas Calientes
Head to Chinchero to see Inca Walls, a Colonial Church, and a textile center where you can try weaving. From there, check out the Moray terraces and the Maras Salt Mines. Stop in Ollantaytambo for lunch at your own pace, then catch the train to Aguas Calientes. Hotel staff meet you and walk you to your nearby accommodation.

- Day 4
Machu Picchu
Take a 30-minute bus ride to Machu Picchu and spend over 2 hours exploring this Inca site. Return to Aguas Calientes by bus and grab lunch before heading back by train to Ollantaytambo. Your guide and driver meet you there and drive you to your hotel near Urubamba Village.

Cusco

Later in the day, visit the Temple of the Moon and Temple Tambomachay.

Cusco to Puno
Take a shared bus for about 10 hours to Puno, covering 386 km. Along the route, stop at Andahuaylilas to see San Pedro Chapel with its mix of Catholic and Andean architecture. Visit Raqchi to check out the Inca Temple dedicated to the creator god Wiracocha. After a buffet lunch in Sicuani, reach La Raya at 4,335 meters to see snow mountains, llamas, and alpacas. Stop at Pucara for Inca heritage sites, then arrive in Puno and get transferred to your hotel.

Head to the pier this morning to explore the Uros Island (Floating Islands) made of floating reeds and see how locals live there. Then take a 3-hour motorboat trip to Taquile Island for a family visit and simple lunch. Return to the pier and get taken back to your hotel.
