Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Baltra to Santa Cruz

    You'll arrive at Baltra and head out on your boat to meet your guide. After settling in, the afternoon takes you to the Santa Cruz Highlands where you can see a tortoise ranch and check out volcanic formations, including underground lava tunnels stretching over 1km. You might spot nocturnal barn owls roosting in the tunnels if you're lucky.

  2. Day 2

    Chinese Hat and Sullivan Bay

    Start your morning at Chinese Hat, where white-coral sand beaches and snorkeling opportunities give you a chance to see playful sea lions, tropical fish, marine iguanas, and penguins. By afternoon, you'll hike across the Pahoehoe lava flow at Sullivan Bay, noticing pioneer plants and lava lizards adapted to the terrain. Later, more snorkeling brings sea turtles, sea lions, reef sharks, and rays into view.

    North Seymour and Santa Fe Islands

    Morning brings you to North Seymour Island for watching blue-footed boobies during their courtship displays, plus frigate birds with bright red throat pouches, sea lions, and marine iguanas. Afternoon snorkeling shows you whitetip reef sharks, colorful fish, rays, sea lions, and sea turtles. Later, Santa Fe Island lets you spot endemic land iguanas in the giant prickly pear cactus forest, then kayaking and panga rides offer more chances to see marine life and the Galapagos hawk.

    Punta Pitt and Witch Hill (Cerro Brujo)

    Begin at Punta Pitt on San Cristobal's eastern tip, one of only a few spots where three booby species and two frigatebird species gather. You'll snorkel and watch schools of fish and sea lions sunbathing. Afternoon takes you to Witch Hill with its white sand beach where Charles Darwin once walked. The large sea lion colony, pelicans, and blue-footed boobies in the nearby lagoon set the scene before snorkeling in clear water.

    San Cristóbal to Continental Ecuador

    Your final morning heads to Tijeretas Hill on San Cristobal Island to watch frigate birds nesting and take in panoramic views of the surrounding marine life. This is one of the few places where you can see both frigatebird species together. After this visit, your guide escorts you to San Cristobal Airport for your flight to mainland Ecuador.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
