Itinerary
- Day 1
Baltra Island to Dragon Hill
You'll arrive at Baltra Island and go through immigration and customs before your naturalist guide meets you and takes you to the Monserrat Yacht. From there, you'll sail to Dragon Hill for your first time exploring the Galapagos, where you can relax, swim, and snorkel. In the afternoon, there's a short walk through the Scalesia tree forest to reach a hypersaline lagoon where you'll spot pink flamingos and various bird species. Later you'll snorkel off the rocky shore and swim with green turtles, sharks, and rays.

Santiago Island
Santiago Island is on the schedule for today. You'll start in the morning at Buccaneer Cove, which has tall cliff rock formations and old pirate hideouts. A panga ride lets you see sea lions and nesting seabirds, then you'll snorkel with playful sea lions and fur seals. After lunch, you'll head to Puerto Egas at James Bay to look for shore birds and reptiles on the dark sand beach, snorkel while watching for rays and turtles, and explore tidal pools filled with marine iguanas and Sally Lightfoot crabs.

Fernandina Island and Isabela Island
Today takes you to the western side of the archipelago, one of the most untouched areas in the Galapagos. You'll start the morning snorkeling and riding a panga at Vicente Roca Point on Isabela Island, where the Bolivar Channel has rich marine life including Galapagos green turtles, sharks, rays, and different sea and coastal birds. In the afternoon, you'll explore Espinoza Point on Fernandina Island, the youngest of the Galapagos Islands, hiking past tidal pools, marine iguana burrows, sea lion colonies, and flightless cormorant nests. You'll finish with snorkeling at one of the best sites in the archipelago to see marine iguanas, Galapagos penguins, and sea turtles.

Urbina Bay and Tagus Cove
The western side of Isabela Island is your focus today with morning and afternoon activities. You'll start at Urbina Bay, a site that formed when the sea floor rose in 1954 and exposed a large coral reef above water. A hike lets you find wild Galapagos giant tortoises, land iguanas, and flightless cormorants, then you'll snorkel near penguin colonies and marine iguanas. Later you'll visit historic Tagus Cove on the northwest coast, where Charles Darwin explored back in 1835. You'll hike to Darwin's Lake, a saltwater lake that sits above sea level, and watch for seabirds like blue-footed boobies and Galapagos penguins. The day ends with snorkeling to see sharks, turtles, sea stars, and colorful fish.

Black Turtle Cove and Departure
Your final morning involves exploring Black Turtle Cove by panga through the mangroves to see the rich marine wildlife in this unique spot where fresh and salt water mix together. You'll look for manta rays, sea turtles, and whitetip reef sharks. After that, you'll head to Baltra Airport and take your flight back to the Ecuador mainland.
