You'll arrive in Cape Town and get settled at your hotel near the V&A Waterfront. Your Trip Manager will walk you through what's ahead over the next couple of weeks. Later that evening, there's a walkabout dinner to kick things off and get to know the group.

- Day 2
Cape Town
Start with a cable car ride up Table Mountain for views of the entire city and surrounding coastline. Afterward, join a city tour that takes in the Bo-Kaap's colorful streets, the City Centre, and the V&A Waterfront. The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace. If you're interested, there's a township tour with lunch or a cooking class option in the evening.

Cape Town
After breakfast, you'll travel along Chapman's Peak Drive with its dramatic cliffsides leading to Cape Point at the southwestern tip of Africa. Stop at Boulders Beach to see African penguins up close, with kayaking available if you want to get on the water. The day finishes with wine tasting and views across the coast.

Cape Town to Kruger National Park
You'll catch an early flight to Johannesburg, then transfer by coach toward Kruger National Park. Once you arrive this afternoon, jump straight into a sunset game drive as you enter the park. You'll settle into canvas dome tents at Contiki Safari Camp on the Sabie River, where you can fall asleep to the sounds of the African bush.

- Day 5
Kruger National Park
Rise early for an optional sunrise safari to spot predators during their final hours of hunting. Spend the middle of the day relaxing at camp with access to the pool, shop, or riverside restaurant overlooking the Sabie River where animals come to drink. An optional sunset game drive gives you another chance to search for the Big Five, and there's a traditional South African braai at the camp in the evening.

Landmarks Kruger National Park - Day 6
Kruger National Park to Johannesburg
You can either wake early for a sunrise game drive or sleep in and enjoy a late breakfast. One more morning game drive through Kruger gives you a final shot at spotting wildlife you might have missed. By afternoon, you'll be back at your Johannesburg hotel, resting up before your flight to Victoria Falls tomorrow.

Landmarks Kruger National Park - Day 7
Johannesburg to Victoria Falls
You'll fly to Victoria Falls and hike along the edge of the falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world. The mist rises constantly from this massive waterfall, which locals call 'The smoke that thunders.' There's an option to jump, zipline, or swing off the bridge connecting Zimbabwe and Zambia over the Zambezi River. Your accommodation depends on when you're traveling: January through June means staying at Victoria Falls Waterfront Hotel in Zambia with river views, while July through December puts you at Shearwater Explorers Village in Zimbabwe, just 400 meters from the falls.

Victoria Falls
This day is yours to choose how to spend it around Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River region. You can either go white water rafting on the Zambezi or join a locally guided tour through a village to experience how people live in the area. As evening comes, there's an optional sunset cruise on the Zambezi where you can have drinks and watch the sky change color.

Landmarks Zambezi River - Day 9
Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park
Start your morning with an optional guided walking safari on foot through Zambezi National Park to track wildlife and learn about the smaller animals and plants. After that, there's an optional helicopter ride above Victoria Falls for incredible views from above. Later you'll cross into Botswana and head to Chobe National Park, famous for its large elephant population. You'll settle into a private Contiki safari site with your own guides, cooks, and bonfire. Note that camping here runs April through October only, while October through March features lodge stays with game drives and buffet dinners instead.

Chobe National Park
Wake early to catch the sunrise over the bush with a light breakfast, then join a morning game drive to spot animals you might have heard during the night. By late morning, you'll check into the lodge and have the rest of the day to relax by the pool. Your final evening together includes an optional wildlife cruise on the Chobe River where you'll see hippos and crocodiles coming to drink, followed by a buffet dinner.

Chobe to Makgadikgadi
You'll head south from Kasane toward Gweta Lodge on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. There's an optional chance to cruise across the salt pans in open safari vehicles looking for meerkat colonies while taking fun perspective photos in one of the world's largest salt flats. Watch the sun dip with drinks before heading to the lodge for dinner and drinks at the bar.

Makgadikgadi to Okavango Delta
Leaving the salt pans behind, you'll head to the Okavango Delta, a unique African landscape and wildlife haven. After a game drive, you'll arrive at your exclusive Contiki Safari Camp where you'll stay in pre-erected two-person dome tents with mattresses and linen. Gather around the campfire for dinner under the stars and share stories from your journey so far.

- Day 13
Okavango Delta
This is your chance to experience wildlife like in the great nature documentaries. After a quick breakfast, head out on an early morning game drive searching for elephants, hippos, and predators. You'll return to camp for lunch and a rest, then either relax at camp or take an optional Mokoro boat trip along the waterways. Another game drive in the afternoon is followed by a traditional campfire dinner, and then a night drive with spotlights to see nocturnal animals.

Tonight, celebrate your final evening in Botswana at the Okavango Delta Brewery with a tour, tasting, and dinner.
