- CCSWong· May 26th, 2025(1) Syracuse is very nice and it is worth to have 1 overnight stay in order to have more free time to wandering around in Syracuse and Ortigia (2) The hotel in Agrigento can access the beach but there is no free time in Agrigento to have a swim or walk along the beach (3) Longer time in Mt Etna such that the tourist can reach higher ground area by using the gondola ride (4) Better shuttle bus arrangement in Taormina such that more free time in Taormina (5) The local guide and the coach driver are both excellentShow moreTrip date: May 2025
- ASAnne· May 23rd, 2025Sights were great. Coach was comfortable. Tour guide was very knowledgable. Too much walking & not enough rest stops. Coaches stopping outside city centres & having to carry luggage to hotels was too much. Arrangements should have been made to assist those individuals who had difficulty walking to hotels with luggage.Show moreSoleto Travel commented on this reviewHi Anne Many thanks for your review, I'm glad you enjoyed the tour. Unfortunately in the historic centers of some cities the big bus cannot enter and stop in front, however I will take your comment into consideration to find a solution in the future.... - ATAngela· October 9th, 2024We recognise the complexity of organising and co-ordinating all the services which go to make up a tour. Our guide, Antonella was knowledgeable and helpful at all times. Our driver, Pino, was experienced and capable. The young lady who sang in the garden at Modica was delightful. We have one suggestion; please add a note to the itinerary explaining that the entrance fee to the archeological parks is not included in the price of the tour. We chose this tour because it included so many locations to visit, but at times this was hectic. Antonella was careful to allow people who did not want to visit some places the freedom to spend time on their own. The lunches and dinners included were welcome, both for the quality of the meals and the additional value for money. Taken as a whole, this tour met all our expectations. Congratulations. - ALAlan· September 22nd, 2024The itinerary was well planned. The days were quite long but that was ok for me. Rita, our tour guide was very good and very helpful..One minor criticism were the number of travellers on the tour. We had 42 people which seemed excessive.Show moreSoleto Travel commented on this reviewHi Alan, Many thanks for your review , much appreciated ! Best regards OmarTrip date: September 2024
- PBPETER· September 22nd, 2024Great seeing wonderful places. However a few simple things would have assisted. Town maps ate free. The tour director could give our before each town visited. Bus driver having a GPS & using it. Having a professional driver make many wrong turns in the usual tourist spots is hard to believe. Tour size advertised as 0 to 40. We started with 42 & increased mid trip to over 50. False advertising. When having meals simply telling people what they would eat. Once again a simple thing & no cost. Adding City taxes to the overall tour cost would also be simple for everyone. No advice to people to where seat belts. I would hate to have seen an accident. Once again a simple thing to remind people & no cost to the company.Show moreTrip date: September 2024
- SBScott· July 18th, 2024Tour was excellent because we had Angelo as our guide. His knowledge was wonderful and his personality is infectious. Everyone on our tour enjoyed Angelo's knowledge and humourous stories. We recommend Angelo to be the winner of the Tour Guide award. The tour gave us a great overview of Sicily and it's different regions. We enjoyed everything about our tour and would recommend it to family and friends.Show moreTrip date: May 2024
- TRTheresa· July 7th, 2024Itinerary was a good overview of Sicily. Overall organisation was good - we always knew where to go and what to expect. Our guide Angelo was great, knowledgeable and easy to understand. Food included a lot of fish and seafood. If you don't like that then you will get pasta and tomato sauce. I had that three times. The first night's dinner was appalling and not appreciated by the whole group. We had some good meals but often the food was boring. Guides we had were generally good. The Guide to the Piazza Amerina was knowledgeable and interesting when we could understand her - she spoke far to fast for us to decipher her accent for 50% of the time. The guide for the Ragusa and Modica cathedrals was very knowledgeable but there was too much information - I had trouble making sense of the main features. I think the cathedral in Modica was an unnecessary addition for very little extra - we had lots of information but it was not different enough from Ragusa. We could have had more about the ceramics for which I had believed Sicily was known.Show moreTrip date: June 2024

Asked on April 4th, 2025Am very interested in this tour for myself and my daughter of 17 yrs. Reading some of the reviews it is unclear to me whether the entrance to the various museums etc. (e.g Piazza Armerina) is included in the fee. Would be grateful for more details on this.
- Soleto TravelOperator•Written April 2025
Kindly consider the tour description and What's Included and What's not included services. Under the What's not included, is specified that all entrances are not included in the general tour cost. However there are add-on packages to purchase all entrances and local city taxes.

Traveler•Written March 2025Can you tell me who the tour guide will be in those dates? We would love Angelo. It's just that we have been on another tour with a different company and the tour guide was so bland and it affected the whole tour. Angelo has amazing reviews.
- Soleto TravelOperator•Written March 2025
At the moment we do not have the guides schedule for August yet, it might be Angelo or Placido

Asked on January 20th, 2025I would like to book this tour with a friend but he is waiting on confirmation that he can take the time off work. We don't want to miss the sale and he might only have an answer later this week. Can you hold the sale for him? We want two single supplements.

Sure, that's no problem I can hold the sale for both of you till the end of the week.

Traveler•Written January 2025Are the hotels stairs-only, and if so, how many flights might I need to carry luggage?
- Soleto TravelOperator•Written January 2025
Cancellation policy, the deposit paid at the confirmation is fully refundable in case of cancellation within 30 days tour departure. After that date a penality is applied. The non refundable deadline is 7 days before tour beginning.
- Soleto TravelOperator•Written January 2025
It would be possible to include Savoca and The Godfather's location in case of early arrival (ideally 1 day before tour beginning - or late departure one day after tour ends)
- Soleto TravelOperator•Written January 2025
All Hotels used on the tour have elevator, not only stairs.
