- Day 1
Hobart
You'll arrive in Hobart and check into your hotel near Constitution Dock right in the city centre. The rest of the day is yours to explore at whatever pace feels right. Take a walk along the Derwent River, wander down to the dock to see the yachts and fishing boats, or just relax if you've had a long travel day. Your Travel Director and the group will meet up for dinner this evening.

Hobart
You'll start with a guided tour of Hobart beginning at Mt. Nelson Lookout for those views across the city. From there you'll head to Battery Point, the historic maritime village with character and charm. Stop by the Cascade Brewery before wandering through the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. Later in the afternoon you'll hit up Salamanca Market where you can graze through local cheeses, pickles, crepes, oysters, truffles, and cider. Browse the galleries and arts and crafts shops, grab a coffee between browsing, and finish with dinner at a restaurant your Travel Director recommends.

- Day 3
Hobart to Strahan
You'll leave Hobart today heading toward the wild landscapes and natural wonders of Tasmania's interior. First stop is Russell Falls in Mt. Field National Park, then you'll continue to Lake St. Clair, which drops to 160 metres and holds the title of Australia's deepest lake. After that you'll drive through the scenic rainforest road in the World Heritage protected Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park. By evening you'll arrive in Strahan, the seaside township where you'll have dinner at your hotel with views overlooking Macquarie Harbour.

Strahan to Cradle Mountain
You'll start the day on a guided cruise down the Gordon River with a local specialist, taking in the dark amber-stained waters and untouched wilderness around you. You'll stop at Sarah Island to explore the ruins of an isolated penal colony and learn about Tasmania's convict history. Next you'll see Hells Gates, the notoriously treacherous harbour entrance. Then it's into the alpine forest of Cradle Mountain National Park and your Stays With Stories accommodation. You can celebrate with local beer and wine, explore the wilderness boardwalk, or check out the hotel's art gallery.

Cradle Mountain
You'll wake up in Cradle Mountain National Park and start at Waldheim Chalet learning about its history. Then you'll take a short boardwalk walk with your Travel Director along Dove Lake, looking up at Cradle Mountain's towering peaks. Keep an eye out for Bennetts wallabies, echidnas, and pademelons as you go. You can opt into learning about Tasmanian Devils or join an evening wildlife spotting experience to see nocturnal mammals and marsupials if you're interested in either.

Cradle Mountain to Launceston
You'll visit a seaside tap house in Penguin where you'll try a tasting paddle of local brews with views out over Bass Strait. Next you'll head to Mount Gnomon Farm in the hills to meet fifth-generation farmer Guy Robertson, tour his apple orchard, and have a paddock-to-plate lunch in his barn. After that you'll stop in Sheffield, known as the 'Town of Murals,' before heading through Meander Valley to Launceston for the night.

Launceston
You'll explore Launceston's Cataract Gorge, a rare natural spot mixing bushland with Victorian gardens. You can take an easy walk around the Basin and check out the historic suspension bridge, or ride the world's longest single span chairlift for panoramic views from above. You'll visit the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Brickendon Estate for a guided tour of the convict farm village with the Archer family leading the way. After a light lunch and a cup of tea you'll finish at Josef Chromy Wines, sampling their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Then you'll head to Launceston Airport for your departure.
