The itinerary changed without notification, and we were never quite sure of what we were going to do or see each day. My party consisted of two people, and the driver (tour guide) catered to my younger counterpart. He continually offered only her refreshments and excluded me from site information conversations. So much so that the driver actually told me to “be quiet” as I attempted to ask a question. While driving on narrow and zig-zag roads, I had to ask the driver to keep his eyes on the road as he was looking back at the other passenger. The pearl in the arranged hotels was Dar Ahmel in Dades - beautiful with an incredible staff. Unfortunately, the same does not hold for the Hotel Volubilis in Fez. The service was lacking, and the premise felt dated. When we arrived at our last hotel in Marrakech, there was no vacancy for us. The main benefit of booking a tour with a travel company is avoiding these complications. - JCJack· November 22nd, 2021Had an enjoyable experience! Typically would have wanted more communication or precise details a little further in advance. Just my personal preference. Sometimes I didn’t find out about the plan for the next day until very late the evening before. However the owner Omar and his staff were quick to respond and provided me everything I needed. They even helped me find a Covid test and helped me print out some documents I needed before my return flight. The accommodations were all perfectly reasonable. The price for the tour was spot on and I would recommend it to my friends. Now to some special people. Our main tour guide Younes was great. He has a wonderful sense of humor and great knowledge of Morocco. He cracked us up with his jokes all day long. Driss our driver was fantastic. He is incredible caring and a great human being. He accommodated us for everything we needed and was also quick to respond every time. These two guys also helped me grab things things from the mall after my luggage was lost from the airport. There is a direct flight from Dublin to Marrakech operated by Aer Ligus and Ryanair and you can catch another internal flight with Ryanair to Fez. The other option is to fly from Dublin to London Stansted then catch another flight from London Stansted to Fez. The flight schedule is only showing availability up to April 2025, so by next year we can check this again.
