  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Hanoi

    Your guide meets you at Noi Bai International Airport and drives you to your hotel in Hanoi. After checking in, the rest of your day is yours to wander around the city at your own pace. Later this evening, you'll head to a Welcome Dinner at one of Hanoi's top restaurants.

  2. Day 2

    Hanoi City Tour

    Following breakfast, you'll see Ba Dinh Square and the Ho Chi Minh complex, then walk through the Temple of Literature. The afternoon takes you to the Museum of Ethnology, and from there you'll take a cyclo ride through Hanoi's old quarter with its narrow streets and local life. By evening you'll settle in for a traditional water puppet show at Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre.

    Halong Bay Junk Cruise

    This morning you leave Hanoi for Halong Bay (175km away) and board a junk boat for a 4-hour journey. Along the way you'll pass Dog Islet, Cock Fighting Islet, and Turtle Islet before visiting the Dau Go and Thien Cung caves. Fresh seafood lunch happens onboard, and then you return to Hanoi for the night.

    You'll board a dragon boat after breakfast and cruise the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu pagoda and Emperor Tu Duc Tomb. In the afternoon, you travel through the scenic Hai Van Pass with ocean views, stopping at the Cham museum, My Khe beach, and Marble Mountain before arriving in Hoi An.

After landing, you head out to the Cu Chi Tunnel to walk through the underground network used during the Vietnam War. You'll watch a video about tunnel construction, explore the maze, see mantraps and bomb craters, and view an American tank. The rest of your day is open to explore Ho Chi Minh City on your own.

    Mekong Delta Floating Market and Farewell Dinner

    Departing at 08:00am, you travel to Cai Be to cruise the floating market among local barges loaded with fruits and vegetables. Optional stops include workshops where they make rice paste, coconut candy, and pop-rice. After lunch, you walk around sampling fresh fruits and listening to traditional music, then bike through village paths to see local farms and traditional fruit-picking. The cruise finishes at Vinh Long city, and then you drive back to Ho Chi Minh City for a Farewell Dinner with your guide.
