Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Arrival in Hanoi

    You'll arrive at Noi Bai Airport and get transferred to your hotel in Hanoi. Later that day, hop on a cyclo tour through the Old Quarter to get a feel for how locals actually live and work. After that, you'll catch the Water Puppet show, which is a unique Vietnamese art form performed in water. Once you're back, there's a tour briefing with your guide, and the day wraps up with a Welcome Dinner together.

  2. Day 2

    Hanoi City Tour

    Following breakfast, you'll spend the morning visiting Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum, his stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, and Ho Chi Minh Museum. You'll also see the One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, and the Museum of Ethnology. The afternoon gives you the option to check out additional museums like the Hanoi Hilton or Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts if you have the energy for more.

    Hoa Binh and Ethnic Minority Villages

    You're heading 75 km to Hoa Binh province to visit ethnic minority villages where the Muong and Dzao people live. There, you'll check out the Hoa Binh Dam and take a boat cruise on the reservoir. After grabbing lunch at a local village, you'll make your way back to Hanoi with a stop at the Ho Chi Minh Trail Museum along the way.

    Lan Ha Bay: Viet Hai Village and Activities

    The day starts with optional sunrise Tai Chi if you're interested. After the buffet breakfast, a day boat takes you to Viet Hai Village for a bicycle trip through rain forests and rice fields. You'll visit an old straw and bamboo house that locals still use. Lunch happens on the day boat, then more time for kayaking and swimming at Ba Ham Lake. Your evening includes Happy Hour, a cooking demonstration for spring rolls, dinner, and you can choose from movies, board games, or spa treatments.

    You'll visit King Khai Dinh's Tomb and King Tu Duc's Tomb in the morning. Following lunch at a local restaurant, you explore the Hue Imperial City and Dong Ba Market. Your guide will walk you through Vietnam's last royal dynasty and explain the city's history as the former Royal Capital. You'll be back at your hotel by 5 pm to settle in.

    Hue: Perfume River and Eco-Village Cooking Class

    You're transferring to Toa Kham Wharf for a cruise along the Perfume River. You'll visit Thien Mu pagoda, then take a scenic cruise to Hue Ecolodge in Thuy Bieu Eco-Village. Strolling or biking around the quiet village, you'll visit a local garden and ancestral temple. Next, you explore handicraft families doing incense making, joss paper making, and paper painting. There's a special cooking class for traditional dishes where you'll prepare and then eat what you've made. The day finishes with a traditional herbal foot soak and massage given by blind people before heading back to your hotel.

Your guide will walk you back to the hotel, and then the rest of the afternoon is free to explore on your own.

    You start at the local market gathering ingredients for a cooking class. After the class, you travel to My Son, located 69 km southwest of Da Nang, to explore the Tra Kieu capital and ancient Cham ruins. My Son was a Cham Dynasty imperial city and holds some of the best-kept Cham structures in Vietnam. You'll return to Hoi An for the night.

    You'll transfer from your hotel to Da Nang airport for a domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh City at Tan San Nhat airport. Upon arrival, you'll transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to rest until you meet your guide and fellow travelers for a Farewell Dinner in the evening.
