Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Amboseli
You'll start at 7:00 AM with a pickup from Nairobi airport or your hotel, then drive through the Athi Plains into Amboseli National Park. After lunch at the lodge, head out for an afternoon game drive with Mount Kilimanjaro providing that dramatic backdrop. You'll spend the night at a lodge right in the park.

- Day 2
Amboseli
Wake early for a wildlife drive before returning to the lodge for a full breakfast. You've got the morning free to relax by the pool or take a nature walk if you'd like. After lunch, you're back out at 4:00 PM for another game drive hunting for elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, and wildebeest with Kilimanjaro visible in the distance.

Landmarks Mount Kilimanjaro - Day 3
Amboseli to Aberdare
After breakfast, you'll drive through coffee and tea plantations toward Aberdare National Park, stopping in Nyeri for lunch along the way. Then continue to your tree hotel (pick from Treetops, The Ark, or Mountain Lodge). Once there, you can watch the illuminated waterhole and salt lick all night long from your forest perch as wildlife comes down to drink.

Landmarks Aberdare National Park - Day 4
Aberdare to Lake Nakuru
Head out early after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving around 12:30 PM for check-in and lunch. You'll have downtime until 4:00 PM, then head out for an afternoon game drive and nature walk along the lake shores. Look for tree-climbing lions, endangered rhinos, and Rothschild giraffes before heading back at sunset.

- Day 5
Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara
Start with a morning game and bird drive around the lake, then drive toward Maasai Mara National Reserve. You'll stop in Narok Town for lunch, then continue to the Mara for an afternoon game drive. Keep watch for the Big Five and herds of plains game across the rolling acacia woodlands that connect to Tanzania's Serengeti.

- Day 6
Maasai Mara
Spend the full day exploring the Mara's plains with game drives from morning through afternoon. Search for the Big Five including Kenya's largest lion population, plus buffalo, rhinos, hippos, leopards, and cheetahs. Pack a picnic lunch at Mara River to watch crocodiles and hippos. At 5:00 PM, visit a Maasai village for a guided nature walk, learn about traditional herbs and culture, enjoy a campfire with dancing and singing, then have dinner before heading back.
