Halifax
Your Halifax adventure begins with a 5 pm welcome meeting where you'll connect with your local leader and fellow travelers. After an orientation walk through the city led by your guide, you'll have the option to join the group for dinner and get to know everyone better.

Halifax to Lunenburg
The day takes you to Lunenburg on the South Shore, a UNESCO World Heritage site and former fishing community. You'll do a leader-led walk through Mahone Bay and Blue Rocks, then have free time exploring the old town centre, a National Historic Site of Canada. There's time to sample local brews before returning to Halifax, with optional dinner available in the evening.

Peggy's Cove
Head to Peggy's Cove, one of Canada's most photographed fishing villages. Your leader guides you along the Peggy's Cove Rock Walk on the barren coastline, and then you'll grab lunch in the village with options like seafood chowder or a fresh lobster roll. In the afternoon, you can choose to visit either the Canadian Museum of Immigration or the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic.

Halifax to Baddeck
You'll drive from Halifax toward Baddeck with a stop at the Millbrook Cultural and Heritage Center to learn about the Millbrook Mi'kmaq and their significance in the Maritimes. Browse the gift shop for traditional arts and crafts, then continue to Baddeck for group dinner followed by a local ceilidh performance, a traditional Scottish-rooted gathering featuring Cape Breton music.

Cape Breton
This morning brings a leisurely hike in Cape Breton Highlands National Park along the Skyline Trail, which offers sweeping views over the sea. After that, you'll head to an oyster hatchery in South Harbour for a hands-on experience learning how oysters are grown, trying your hand at shucking, and tasting fresh local oysters. Weather permitting, continue along the scenic Cabot Trail for about 4 hours with beautiful stops and a picnic lunch before heading back to Baddeck.

Baddeck to Charlottetown
Early risers have the option to visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site to learn about the inventor's life and work. Later in the morning, you'll drive from Baddeck to Charlottetown, arriving in the late afternoon. Spend time on foot exploring the harbour, leafy parks, and Victorian-era streets with their gabled houses. The day concludes with your group's farewell dinner.

Charlottetown
No group activities are scheduled, so you're free to leave whenever you'd like or spend more time exploring Charlottetown on your own. If you're interested, there's an option to join the Maritimes Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick trip as a combo add-on.
