Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Negombo
Your chauffeur will meet you at the airport and drive you in an air-conditioned vehicle to Negombo for the night. It's a straightforward transfer that gets you settled after your flight, so you can rest up before the adventure begins.
- Day 2
Negombo to Sigiriya
After breakfast, you'll head toward Sigiriya with a stop at Pinnawala elephant orphanage where you can watch the elephants bathe in the river if you're departing early enough. From there, an elephant-back safari takes you through the landscape before stopping at Dambulla Golden Cave temple. You'll check in at your Sigiriya hotel by evening.

Sigiriya to Kandy
Following breakfast, the day involves climbing to the summit of Sigiriya rock fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site that gives you views across the surrounding plains. Later you'll travel to Kandy with time spent at a Matale spice garden along the way. In Kandy itself, you'll visit the Temple of the Tooth, walk through a wood carving factory, and see Kandy Lake before watching a cultural dance performance that evening.

After breakfast, you're heading to Nuwara Eliya with several stops planned. The route includes Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden, a tea factory and actual tea plantation where you'll see how the tea grows, and Ramboda waterfall. You'll reach your hotel there for the night.

Beach Day in Bentota
This is your beach day in Bentota with plenty of free time. You can stroll along the golden beaches, relax on sun decks, or go swimming. Water sports options are available if you want them, including water skiing, windsurfing, snorkeling, jet skiing, dolphin and whale watching, diving, or taking a glass-bottom boat trip to see marine life.

Bentota to Colombo
You'll travel to Colombo this morning and check in at your hotel for the final night. The afternoon includes a city tour with shopping opportunities so you can pick up any last-minute items or souvenirs before heading home.
