Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Athens
You'll arrive at Athens International Airport where a transfer meets you. From there, head to your hotel to drop off luggage and get settled in. The afternoon and evening are completely open. If you're not too tired from your flight, there's an optional half-day trip to Cape Sounio where you can see the Temple of Poseidon overlooking the coast, but it's entirely up to you. Many people just relax at the hotel their first day.

- Day 2
Athens City Tour and Acropolis
After breakfast at your hotel, you'll meet your guide for a half-day walking tour through Athens. The morning covers the Panathenaic Stadium, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch, and Parliament building. Then you'll head up to the Acropolis complex to see the Propylaea entrance, Temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheion, and the Parthenon itself. Before returning to your hotel around 1:30 PM, you'll stop at the New Acropolis Museum. The rest of the afternoon is free to do whatever you want.

Free Day in Athens
Start with breakfast at your hotel, then you have the whole day to wander through Athens on your own. Check out neighborhoods, find local spots, and see what catches your eye. If you want structure, there's an optional food walking tour that takes you through markets and local food scenes where you can try Greek coffee, koulouri bread, olive oils, baklava, souvlaki, spices, bougatsa pastries, and various meze plates. Otherwise, just explore at your own pace.

Departure from Athens
Have breakfast at your hotel one last time. At the scheduled time, you'll be picked up and transferred to Athens International Airport or Piraeus Port depending on whether you're flying out or heading to a cruise. You'll head home or continue on to your next destination.
