Just be prepared for long bus drives if you start from Helsinki (there is an option to start from Rovaniemi to avoid this just check with the operator). TimetravelsOperator•Written September 2025The rooms are for 2-4 people. In most of the cottages there are 2-3 rooms. The rooms shares 1 bathroom and kitchen with living area. There is also the chance to book a private accommodation for the group but it comes at an extra cost.

About flight time, we recommend to consider arrivals at least 3 hours before the trip departure, to avoid the flight possible delay. As a traveller, I would consider one flight before. I.e. if you can book a flight arriving at 13:00 and in case of issues you have a back-up flight arriving at 18:00, that's the best scenario. Regarding return flights, please, feel-free to consider anything after 13:30. With such a schedule, we are already taking into account the foreseeable delay causes. Yes, the tour starts in Helsinki. The airport is conveniently located 30-40minutes from the departure point. The trains last station is always Helsinki central station. Therefore, any train is suitable!

Yes, it should be possible. Public transportation works very well in Helsinki, making the transfer to the city center smooth. i recommend planning your clothing in advance for the cold temperatures, but please note that it is also possible to rent suitable winter clothing at your destination.

Our accommodations usually fit 7-14 travellers. In each accommodation the rooms have various size; mainly there are twins rooms. There might be some single room but I cannot guarantee it. 10-14 days before the trip departure, we will send you the accommodation sign-up. You can choose the accommodation to use for the trip. Then, the actual room divisions happens when all of you enter the accommodation and decide together. I'm sorry to say that we cannot pre-book a private room in the accommodations. We should book an entire accommodation for you. However, the price would be about 30-50% of the tour package value.

Cross country skiing is not included in the package, but similarly to snowmobile activity, it can be purchased after your booking has been completed. The price for cross country skiing for beginners is 33€ / per customer at this point, while snowmobile activity is right now 119€ / per customer. When it comes to aurora hunt, we are not organizing a hunt per se, but those are super likely to be spotted, if you have any luck on your side!

We welcome everybody on our trips! The age mentioned is just a guide for typical group composition. Note that this tour includes 2 nights on the bus which can be tiring. The 3 meals included are buffet-style with vegetarian options. The bus will stop at supermarkets where you can buy additional food. We don't offer this tour in November - only Christmas trip (22-29.12.2025) and New Year trip (29.12.2025-05.01.2026).

Those are bus trips, so only seats are available. We operate with shared accommodation policy, which is a great way of meeting fellow travellers. If you and your friends would like to stay in the same room, it is possible when you sign-up to the same accommodation document. Yes, you are also able to fly from Rovaniemi in order to skip the night bus. However, the price stays the same.
