Our guide Dawa Sherpa was incredible – he may be small in size, but he has a huge heart! So kind, attentive, and always looking out for us every single step of the way. He even helped carry our backpack on the challenging Larke La Pass day – we will never forget that! Our porter Hari was also wonderful – always smiling and so supportive throughout the trek. Together, they made us feel safe, cared for, and completely at ease in the mountains. The teahouses they arranged for us were excellent – clean, comfortable, and with delicious food. Everything was so well organized from start to finish. We didn’t have to worry about anything – just enjoy the stunning scenery and the journey. We highly recommend Sherpa Expedition and Trekking to anyone planning a trek in Nepal. Thank you Dawa, Hari, and the entire team for such a memorable adventure. My guide, Frunzi, was incredibly kind, attentive, and supportive—always adjusting the pace to suit me and making sure I was safe and well every step of the way. Together with Bala, our strong and cheerful porter, they helped me reach the base camp successfully and with confidence. The agency provided the best possible accommodations in the mountains, with great vegetarian meal options throughout the trek. Ram, the agency owner, stayed in constant contact and generously offered high-quality gear (sleeping bag, poles, and down jacket) free of charge. Asked on February 18th, 2025I hope you're well! I've managed to convince 2 friends to hike to EBC in late May and loved the look of your website. Before I chat with them further, I wanted to ask a few questions. FYI, we are 23 year old English/Scottish blokes who are all active, but have little mountaineering experience outside of the UK. 1. Are there any 12 to 13 day treks departing in mid-late May? 2. Would you recommend your company for people our age? 3. How many people are typically in a trekking group? 4. What is the total cost of the trek? 5. What gear do I need to bring, and do you offer any rental options? 6. Since two of us need to book time off work, how likely are delays due to weather, particularly with Lukla flights? 7. Do we need special travel insurance, and if so, what coverage do you recommend?
