I hiked for two weeks straight, going up to Everest Base Camp. It transformed my life, man. My whole perspective changed. Seeing the Earth from up there and reflecting on my existence, it's mind-blowing. The trek, starting from Lukla and back, was like nothing I've ever experienced. The views, the mountains around Pheriche, Lobuche, Gorakshep, and EBC, and those insane peaks like Thamsherku, AmaDhablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Mount Everest, were beautiful. Deepak Pandey from Mountain Rck Treks planned the whole trip flawlessly. And, when our flight got canceled, and we were stuck in Lukla, he arranged our flight and saved the day—such an incredible and reliable person he is.

So, I went on this trip with Mountain Rock Treks last October. I was incredibly well-organized! They hooked us up with awesome guides and porters who knew their stuff. Those guys were super experienced, helpful, and reliable. The guides set a great pace during the hike and ensured we were safe and healthy. They even went above and beyond to lend a hand. I'll always remember when I lost my hiking pole while stopping on a bridge to snap a picture. I thought it was a goner, but the lead guide surprised me an hour later by bringing it back. It turns out he had climbed down to the raging river and found it for me. He saved my trek, 'cause I couldn't have managed those trails without both poles.

As a seasoned traveler, I have had the pleasure of exploring some of the most beautiful destinations in the world. Still, none compare to the breathtaking experience of the Everest Base Camp Trek with Mountain Rock Treks. From the moment I stepped into their office, I was struck by the professionalism and expertise of the team. From start to finish, everything was planned and executed with precision, allowing me to focus on what truly mattered - immersing myself in the stunning beauty of the Himalayas. The trek itself was nothing short of extraordinary. With breathtaking views of the mountains, charming villages, and friendly locals, I was left in awe of the beauty that surrounded me. The guides were knowledgeable and passionate, ensuring every detail was taken care of. They also shared their personal stories and experiences, making me feel like I was part of a family.

Wonderful day on a mountain. The Himalayas is incredible because of their beauty and changing their faces all the time. Everest view from Everest view hotel is amazing. Kalapathar is awesome in terms of himalayas. The only bad thing is freezing cold. I love their arrangement, according to my paying, I got more than what I expected. Looking forward to doing the Everest base camp helicopter tour in next visit. I highly recommend Mountain rock treks and their team.

Reaching the base of the world's highest mountain has been a long-awaited dream of mine. Thanks to Mr. Depak Pande and his excellent team for organizing Everest base camp trek so smoothly. No doubt, the trail is difficult and needs precise work on little things. While looking for a travel partner I was coming across so many travel agencies. It was so overwhelming because all of them have similar packages but I am happy to find Mountain Rock Trek.

Please may you send me a range of trekking itineraries. Given annual leave restriction with work we would like to complete a optimal day expedition. One which doesn't jeopardise acclimatisation but equally doesn't take unnecessarily long. What is the shortest trekking option 'by days' available?

    Asked on March 8th, 2023

I had some questions regarding the EBC Trek. We are 2 friends looking to book this trip so wanted to know the following: 1) Does your tour offer different room types in tea houses and guest houses. We would like clean and good accommodation and wondering if you have options to choose from? 2) Will your partner guest/tea houses offer connected bathrooms for the whole trek? 3) How many people are there in a group tour? We are 2 people so can that be considered for a private group tour? If so what would be the price? 4) Can we choose to opt for 2 porters if needed? 5) We are wondering if it is possible to do the return from the trek using a Helicopter in your tours. If so, how much would it cost per person? We don't need to do a private helicopter return ride and will be okay to join a larger group.

Our tour offers different types of accommodation during the trek, including clean and comfortable rooms in tea houses and guest houses. We offer standard and deluxe packages with different accommodation options to choose from. Most of the guest/tea houses on the EBC Trek have shared bathrooms, and only a few have connected bathrooms. We offer both private and group tours. If you would like to book a private tour for just the two of you, we can arrange that for you. You can choose to opt for 2 porters if needed. We recommend keeping the weight of your baggage to a maximum of 20 kg per porter. Yes, it is possible to do return from the trek using a helicopter. The cost of the helicopter ride varies depending on the number of people and availability.
