It was our first time to Hanoi and we enjoyed it thoroughly, especially the Ha Long Bay Cruise.Tony was meticulous in his explanation and our lady guide (didn’t quite catch her name) took good care of us. Mekong Delta is quite beautiful but so crowded. I expect water in Mekong river is more clean. Ho Chi Minh City is so busy City by night. Good place for chillout. Everyone on the cruise gave exceptional service throughout the trip. However, some of the activities were not ‘senior citizen’ friendly and this should have been clarified. We would also have preferred a bigger room on the cruise (paying extra, of course) but the option was not offered. Overall - we had a wonderful time and would recommend this tour to anyone. Guides with vehicles in such heat and unadvertised walking tours with uninterested guides who just wanted to be on iPhone instead of explaining what we were looking at. Halong Bay was very very good except for the non air conditioning in the bus on the journey to and from and that distracted from the wonderful trip. Would never ever travel with Legend Travel again. - Kristina· February 28th, 2018I thought overall the tour guides had really good knowledge of everything that they showed us. The only downside was the communication barrier it seemed like they had rehearse what they were supposed to say but when you ask them questions they couldn't really answer your questions or understand what you are saying. There was a miscommunication of how we were supposed to check out of the hotel but then leave our luggage there. There was a lot of talking but the actual message was not given to us to check out. The other thing was was when we had a flight they dropped us off at the airport 5 hours early which was a total waste of a day. And then when we stayed in Hanoi and had to go to halong Bay the six hours total driving back and forth seems kind of unorganized and owais as well. Might as well have stayed 2 days and how long bay in 2 days in Hanoi. We also had a delayed flight and when we landed a tour guide said that we might have had to miss marble Mountain which would have been the coolest thing to do that day on the itinerary. It was not our fault that the flight was delayed and for the tour to schedule such a late flight when they knew marble Mountain would close at 5:30 p.m. didn't make sense and we were almost about to miss it if we didn't push back our meal. Also a little confused about why we had to pay extra for the Lunar New Year when everything was closed so the activities that we were scheduled to do were shortened or not able to be done.
