- Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu transfer to hotel.
- Day 2 Fly to Lukla (2,804 m) & trek to Phakding (2,610 m) 4-5 hours.
- Day 3 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) 5-6 hours.
- Day 4 Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar.
- Day 5 Trek to Dole (4150m) 5-6 hours.
- Day 6 Trek to Machhermo (4470m) 3-4 hours.
- Day 7 Trek to Gokyo (4750m), after Lunch climb to Fifth lake and back to Gokyo 5-6 hours.
- Day 8 Hiking up to Gokyo Ri (5,370m) & back to Gokyo 4-5 hours.
- Day 9 Cross the Renjo La pass and trek down to Lungden (4350m) 5-6 hours.

When I got sick, Rinji sherpa carried my backpack and walked with me in the end of the group, giving me water and tea. I appreciated his help a lot. - DHDon· February 17th, 2020My dad and I headed to Nepal for the Gokyo Lakes trek this December. Sherpa Expedition and Trekking organized everything for us - hotel, airport transfers, and trek. Ram (not sure on spelling, sorry) was an amazing guide. He is super knowledgeable about Nepal and could talk to me at length about the culture, history, religion, and political situation. He also went on a few extra afternoon hikes with me when the day was long enough for my dad, but not quite enough for me. More to the point, he jumped into action when my dad got sick on this trip. It was some sort of bronchitis type deal that came on super suddenly during the trip. He just couldn't make the miles anymore - I've never seen him that sick before. Ramos was able to develop a new plan for us and organize a helicopter transfer back to Kathmandu for my dad (seriously, buy that travel insurance!). He and I then hiked out a bit faster than planned so I could meet my dad back in Kathmandu. He was able to seamlessly organize logistics, even though plans were changing almost daily. In Kathmandu,Ram and Kiran took great care of my dad. They made sure he got to the hospital and even helped organize cars to take him back to the doctor for follow up appointments. Overall, they really came through for us in a bad situation. Even though my dad's trek ended early, we both still really enjoyed the hiking, scenery, and all we learned from Ramos. I think this trip could have very easily been a nightmare, but it wasn't thanks to Sherpa Expedition and Trekking Team.Show moreSherpa Expedition & Trekking Pvt. I chose to hike the Gokyo Renjola pass in winter and it was magnificent. Hard, but the spectacular scenery made up for the difficult trek. - SRSimon· February 10th, 2020We booked a two week trekking tour to Gokyo Ri with Sherpa Expedition and Trekking. This included a porter and guide as well as all arrangement regarding accommodation during the trip. When arrived in Kathmandu our guide Ram Barakoti picked us up from the airport and brought us to our hotel. Before going on the trek we were quickly briefed in the office of Sherpa Expedition and Trekking in Kathmandu and could ask questions regarding our trek. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and from the beginning we felt well cared. On top, Sherpa Expedition and Trekking managed to get flights from Kathmandu to Lukla instead of Manthali, which for us was a big service, as only few flights were available from KTM. The trek itself was outstandingly beautiful and an amazing experience. Our guide Ram Barakoti and Porter Dorje contributed so much to that. Both were absolutely amazing. Due to a delay of his flight our guide could only arrive later than us in Lukla. However, Dorje our porter was the perfect "replacement guide" for that day and helped us with the national park permit and guided us to our first overnight lodge in Phakding. During the whole trek both of them were super helpful when asking for information or when ordering and serving dinner in the evening in the lodges. Also when I felt some signs of altitude sickness on 4800 m in Gokyo both were there for us and guided us down the mountain during the night in the dark. This alone is worth booking the tour with Sherpa Expedition and Trekking instead of doing the trek on your own, as you will always be sure to have assistance and help in case you need it.
