Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Siem Reap
Your guide meets you at the airport and takes you to the hotel to get settled. Once you've dropped your bags, you can head out to check out Siem Reap's traditional market if you're feeling up for it, or catch the nightlife on Pub Street by tuk-tuk. It's a good way to shake off travel fatigue and get a feel for the town.

- Day 2
Angkor Temples and Apsara Dinner Show
You'll wake before sunrise and head out to watch the sun come up over Angkor Wat, then return for breakfast. Spend the day walking through the temple complex starting with Angkor Wat itself, then move to Angkor Thom to see the Bayon Temple with its 216 carved faces, the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Later you'll get to Ta Prohm with its massive tree-covered ruins. By late afternoon head to Bakheng Temple for sunset views. The day wraps with an Apsara Dinner Show in the evening.

- Day 3
Roluos Group and Banteay Srei
You have the choice to bike or ride by private car to Roluos Village and Temples, taking about an hour to see the rural scenery along the way. Check out the three main temples of the Roluos Group: Lolei, Preah Ko, and Bakong, which represent the early foundations of Angkor architecture. After lunch, head to the intricately decorated Banteay Srei temple, then continue to Preah Khan with its narrow corridors and detailed stonework before returning to Siem Reap and your hotel.

Tonle Sap Lake to Phnom Penh
Check out this morning and travel to Tonle Sap Lake to visit the floating village. You'll take a boat ride through the village to see floating houses and get a real sense of daily life on the water. Afterward, your transfer takes you to the airport for a 50-minute flight to Phnom Penh. Your guide meets you there and takes you to the hotel so you can rest and settle in.

- Day 5
Phnom Penh Heritage Sites
Start the day at the Royal Palace, the current residence of Cambodia's royal families. Move on to the National Museum to see relics from the Khmer Empire, then stop at Wat Phnom temple which holds Buddha statues recovered from the Mekong River. After lunch, the afternoon covers the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, the former Security Prison 21, and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. This day involves some emotionally heavy sites, so pace yourself accordingly.

Phnom Penh to Kep via Angkorian Sites
You'll drive about 3.5 hours from Phnom Penh toward Kep with stops along the route. After roughly 1.5 hours, stop at Phnom Chisor Temple sitting on top of a 133-meter hill with great countryside views all around. Then continue to Angkor Borei Town, the ancient capital of the Funan Kingdom, to see the pre-Angkorian temples of Phnom Da and Asram Maharosei. By late afternoon you'll arrive in Kep and check into your beachside resort.

Kampot Pepper Farm and Kep
Drive about 30 minutes to Kampot, a charming colonial-era riverside town. Wander through the rustic French colonial buildings, then visit a pepper farm to learn how Kampot peppers are grown and made. Lunch comes straight from the farm and features fresh peppers they've just harvested. Head back to Kep for some free time on the beach, then in the late afternoon walk through the local Crab Market to try fresh crab and seafood.
