Itinerary
- Day 1
Amman
Touch down at Amman airport and get a ride to your hotel, which takes about 40 minutes. You can store your bags if you arrive early since check-in doesn't typically happen until after 2:00 pm. After that, the rest of the day is yours to settle in and rest up.
- Day 2
Amman
Head north to Jerash to see an ancient Roman city with well-preserved colonnaded streets, temples, and Byzantine mosaics. Grab lunch at a local spot there, then drive back to Amman to check out the Citadel ruins and the Roman theatre. You'll wander through the local markets and cafes, try some Arabic coffee and pastries, then travel to Beida for the night.

Petra
Start the day with a trek into Petra along a Bedouin trail through mountains and farmland. You'll head toward the Monastery (ad Deir) with views of the Great Rift Valley, stop for tea, and explore the area. After that, you'll walk down the Nabataean processional steps, pass through the Dark Siq slot canyon, and come back through the main siq to reach the Treasury. You'll have lunch and then transfer to your Bedouin camp in Beida.

Amman
After breakfast, drive to Wadi Rum desert where Bedouin guides from the Howeitat tribe will take you by jeep through the landscape. You'll see mountains, sand dunes, and rock inscriptions carved into the stone. A picnic lunch happens in the shade during your time out there. Later in the day, head back to Rum village and transfer to Amman for a hotel overnight.
