The Yala safari was just one of the activities organized by Stelaranholidays. We also visited a turtle hatchery, went on a Madu River Safari, explored a Mask factory, toured a Spice garden, and visited the Galle Dutch fort. Whether it was cultural, religious, adventurous, beach-related, or nature-focused, Sri Lanka had it all. Despite being informed about the difficulties of the roads leading to the Yala safari entrance, our guide Chandana and our jeep driver Kumara skillfully navigated through, providing us with a fantastic and unforgettable experience. We saw bears, leopards, deer, elephants, and peacocks, thoroughly enjoying this tour. Throughout the tour, we experienced various aspects of Sri Lanka, always feeling safe, secure, and well-informed. Rodrigo· January 19th, 2024For us, we are coming from Cyprus. One of our friends recommended contacting Stelaran Holidays directly. He provided us with the owner's number and suggested that we call and ask for him. Our friend has also shared your number with the owner, who will offer us special rates. Finally, we will arrive on 10th January 2024 at 6:30 am in Colombo. We chose a full-day safari, and our driver was Kumara. The park is beautiful and full of surprises. We spotted three leopards and several elephants, one so close to the jeep that we had to back up. There were also many other beautiful animals, including elephants, deer, peacocks, parrots, monkeys, buffaloes, mongooses, wild boars, crocodiles, marmots, monitor lizards, hares, jackals, numerous birds, and of course, a bear. Moreover, we saw another leopard right in front of us! We consider ourselves very lucky. We had lunch at the beach, which was really nice. The full-day safari is long, from 5 am to 6 pm, but it's much better because there are fewer cars in the park from 10 am to 3 pm. Kumara was knowledgeable about the park and careful when driving. Trip date: December 2023- EU· January 11th, 2024The park was close. Alternative smaller park adjacent to it was inadequate with no wildlife at all. And of course I was not notified before paying them full overpriced fee but just when I realized that GPS is showing different location and show them the evidence. Asked on March 9th, 2025Could you clarify on the exclusion of the safari jeep arrangement fee? will this be required to enter yala safari? Also the dolphin watchin as well? i guessing these are the two fees that is excluded but is part of your itinerary?
Stelaran Holidays (Pvt) LtdOperator•Written March 2025The safari jeep arrangements for Yala are optional and not included in the tour price. However, we can arrange them for you at an additional cost: Full-day safari (including lunch, snacks, jeep, and admission for two persons): $180. Half-day safari (including tickets, jeep, and admission for two persons): $95. A safari jeep is required to enter Yala National Park, as private vehicles are not permitted inside. Regarding dolphin watching, this is also an optional activity and can be arranged at $60 per person if you'd like to include it in your experience.
