- Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m) & transfer to hotel.
- Day 2 Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubensi (1450m) 7-8 hours.
- Day 3 Trek from Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2480m) 5-6 hours.
- Day 4 Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley (354om) 5-6 hours.
- Day 5 Trek from Langtang Valley to Kyanjin Gompa (3900m) 3-4 hours.
- Day 6 Hike up to Tsergo Ri (4985m) and back to Kyanjin Gompa.
- Day 7 Trek back to Lama hotel (2,480m) 5-6 hours.

They were very patient with our slower pace and were always asking us to take our time. Their command of English was excellent and we were always well taken care of. Fruits were served after every dinner and they always ensured we had enough food, especially after a long trek. Tshring and dorje were also very responsive to our enquires pre trip and even helped us arrange for a mountain flight post trek in short notice! Given our positive experience back then, we had no doubts about using them once again. This was a shorter trip focusing on trekking for 9 days in the Langtang Valley. As before, responses to our initial email inquiries were quick and detailed so that planning was simple and trouble free. On arrival in Nepal, we were once again impressed with the organisation of our trip and were welcomed back like old friends when we met Ram and his team at the office in Thamel. Our guide and porter looked after us very well and were always anxious to ensure we were happy with arrangements and to be flexible with plans. The highlight was a walk on a little used path to an exceptional view over a moraine ridge near the Langtang glacier. And who can forget our porter singing as we trekked! Our guide was Ram - the best guide in Nepal ! :-) We spent wonderful time with this cheerful and professional man and all our porters. Unfortunately because of bad weather we didn't cross the pass. One of our porters had an accident and injured his leg. Uma Holidays called a helicopter for him and carried him to Kathmandu to the hospital. They are really superb company.
