Itinerary
- Day 1
Besisahar to Chame
You'll travel by jeep through the foothills for 3 to 4 hours, winding through villages and terraced farmland. Along the way, you'll see snow-capped mountains including Annapurna and Manaslu rising in the distance. The route crosses rivers and passes through scenic landscape before you arrive in Chame. It's a good day to get acclimated and take in the mountain scenery from the vehicle.

Landmarks/POIs Annapurna Manaslu - Day 2
Chame to Thorong Phedi or High Camp
From Chame, you'll trek for about 4 hours heading toward Ledar and then continuing to Thorong Phedi, located at the base of Thorong Himal. Weather plays a role in your plans for the evening, so depending on conditions, you'll either stay at Thorong Phedi or push on to High Camp. The higher camp gives you better positioning for tackling tomorrow's pass crossing, so your guide will make the call based on what the weather looks like.

Landmarks/POIs Thorong Himal - Day 3
Thorong Phedi/High Camp to Muktinath via Thorong La Pass
This day is demanding, with a 4 to 5 hour trek to reach Thorong La Pass, one of the world's highest passes. Once you reach the pass, you'll see views across numerous peaks over 6000m and down into the Kali Gandaki Valley. After crossing, the trek continues down to Muktinath, with Mt. Dhaulagiri visible along the way. The descent starts easier but then shifts to undulating terrain and steeper sections as you make your way down.

Landmarks/POIs Thorong La Pass Kali Gandaki Valley Mt. Dhaulagiri - Day 4
Muktinath to Pokhara
You'll start by visiting the sacred Muktinath Temple, which holds significance for both Buddhists and Hindus in the region. After that, you can check out Jwala Mai Sanctuary before heading to Jomson. From Jomson, you'll drive back to Pokhara where your trek comes to an end. It's a nice transition from the mountain terrain back to the valley and then returning to town.
