Hotels were all single occupancy but never felt lonely thanks to the friendly staff. The guide in Pushkar took time to explain the temple customs, which was enlightening. The hotels, especially in Udaipur and Bikaner, had beautiful views and great hospitality. Guides were engaging, and none of the visits felt too commercial.
