- MGMoira· January 18th, 2025The trip was well organised and covered all the highlights. As the trip starts every day, I was often travelling alone. Friends were also travelling the north-south route in Vietnam. It would have helped me to know the travel planning details 2-3 days in advance, such as when and how to fly, in order to meet up with them. Danny made the start in Hanoi easier for me and was very supportive in the event of a loss. The guides were very different, both in terms of language and knowledge. I myself have been organising and guiding tours for 12 years. I always find it important that the guide approaches the respective group with information, whether it is to talk briefly about the upcoming tour and not just answer questions. Questions presuppose that the respective customer has prepared themselves, i.e. already has some knowledge. But only a few do that. The guides did not always speak good English. At the Marble Mountains, for example, I would have appreciated a tip about the cave. Really beautiful, but with the wrong shoes an adventure that I do not want to repeat. At the end of the trip in Saigon I had a tour guide, nickname Tintin, who looked after the group wonderful, informed them directly about the tour program, had a lot of knowledge, which he passed on proactively and was easy to understand in English. That's why he deserves a mention here. The changing tour guides and fellow travelers were always very friendly and helpful. They were able to tell us a lot about the sights of Vietnam. The fellow travelers were also very nice and we were able to talk to people from different countries. The program was extensive. Sometimes we wished we could stay a little longer in one place, but we only had two weeks. If you can take more time off, you can certainly spend more time in Vietnam. In any case, we will always have fond memories of this round trip through Vietnam. - BCBarbara· July 11th, 2024Danny our tour organiser in Hanoi was great - we were able to reach him any time of day wherever we were and he sorted every little detail out for us! Thank you Danny you were amazing! Vietnam was great. This was not a tour that we did as a group who travelled together. We did different visits and activities with different people and often met up with them along the journey. We were a bit disappointed at first as thought we may tire of each others company 😂 but it actually worked very well and we met some amazing people. Travelling through Vietnam was an absolute joy and we enjoyed all of it - if I was doing it again I would not catch the overnight train as it was the most basic and the toilets horrendous, but hey its all part of the experience I guess 😂! The hotels were all acceptable but looked a bit tired and neglected (our trip was soon after tourism opening up after the pandemic). - PPaulaNovais· September 13th, 2022Arranged tour through Vietnam 15-days... We booked our trip with Tourradar in Austria. But Legend Travel Group arranged the trip in Vietnam for us. Legend travel, Mr Danny, arranged all the excursions, hotels etc. in Vietnam. The guides, the transfers, the hotels, everything was fine. We had to make some minor adjustments because of the wheather and Mr.Danny took good care of that. The only thing that could have been better was the Viet View hotel in Hanoi. The room was small, old and in need for a good makeover. I was told by Mr.Danny afterwards that the hotel will be renovated this year. I do recommend Legend Travel to everyone travelling to Vietnam. When I go back I probably would book a flight myself and have Legend arrange everything else.
