Itinerary
- Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara
Your driver picks you up from your Nairobi hotel around 7:30 AM for the drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, which takes roughly 6 hours. Along the way, you'll stop at a viewpoint to check out the Great Rift Valley. You should arrive by noon, grab lunch at your lodge, and then head out for a short game drive before dinner. After that first full day of travel, you'll settle in for the night.

Masai Mara
After eating breakfast early, you start a full day game drive at 8 AM across the 1510 square km park. This is when you'll look for the Big 5 along with wildebeest, giraffe, hippo, and crocodiles hanging around the Mara River. Your picnic lunch happens right there in the park during the drive. By 5 PM the drive wraps up, and you head back for dinner.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru
You'll have a quick breakfast, then spend about 6 hours driving to Lake Nakuru, covering 340 km. Arriving in the afternoon, you check in and have lunch with time to rest. Later on, before dinner, you head out on an evening game drive. Lake Nakuru is one of the world's largest bird sites, and you'll have a chance to see flamingoes, different wildlife, and Black and White Rhinos before settling in for the night.

Lake Nakuru to Amboseli
Starting with early breakfast, you drive about 7 hours to Amboseli National Park, passing through Nairobi and various towns along the way. After arriving in the afternoon, you'll check in, have lunch, and take some rest time. Then in the late afternoon, you get out for a short game drive with Mount Kilimanjaro's snow-capped peak providing a backdrop for the scenery. Dinner wraps up your day.

Amboseli
You spend the full day on a game drive throughout Amboseli National Park with meals served at your lodge. The park is known for its elephant herds, and the thin vegetation gives you good sight lines for spotting African bush elephants, buffaloes, impalas, Masai lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, and blue wildebeest. You'll return to the lodge as evening comes on for dinner.

Amboseli to Nairobi
