- Erica· December 9th, 2024Greg and Jozsef were amazing. Greg was an excellent guide, very organized, knowledgeable and fun. Jozsef was a safe and dependable driver. Regarding the itinerary, I wish we were able to see some of the Christmas markets at night. You don’t get the full experience when you only see them by day and miss out on all the lights at night. I wish we would have had more time to spend in Colmar and Strasbourg instead of being rushed to get back for dinner or either stayed somewhere closer to the markets so there was an option to go back after dinner on our own. I have a huge complaint about the hotel Mövenpick we stayed at our last night in Zurich. I was really disappointed Insight would choose a hotel of that caliber for us to stay in. It was very old and outdated. It was not the standard of hotel I would expect to stay in for the amount of money we paid for this trip and certainly didn’t compare to the quality of hotels we stayed in early in the trip. I was so grossed out by it that I contemplated paying out of pocket to get a hotel room somewhere else for the night. The room was extremely hot, the bed was lumpy, the pillows were flat. The carpet was stained, wallpaper pilling off the walls.Show more

Insight VacationsOperator•Written May 2023There are two versions of the trip which are the Classic group and the Small group. The difference besides the price is the maximum number of guests on the trip. The Classic group has an average of 33 guests and not more than 40 guests while the Small group has no more than 24 guests.
