Itinerary

Day 1
Bali to Gili Trawangan
Your hotel pickup happens between 8:30 and 9:00 am, then it's about an hour and a half drive to Padang Bay port. From there, you'll take a fast boat across to Gili Trawangan Island. After checking in and grabbing lunch, you'll have time to recover from the boat ride before heading out on an afternoon bicycle tour to see the island. Later, catch the sunset with drinks at a beach bar that's just a short walk from where you're staying.

Day 2
Snorkeling & Gili Meno
Start with breakfast, then board a snorkeling boat to explore the waters around the Gili Islands. You'll see sea turtles, groups of fish, and underwater sculptures near Gili Meno Island. There's a beachside lunch on Gili Meno, and after eating, walk around that island for a bit. The boat brings you back between 3 and 4 pm, so you can watch the sunset from the water. Finish the day with a farewell dinner, then hit the beach bars for live music and dancing as late as you want.

Day 3
Gili Trawangan
This is your last day on the island, so take it easy. After breakfast, head to the beach and spend the morning however you'd like, whether that's swimming, walking along the shore, or trying out those famous beach swings. Around noon, check out of your accommodation and make your way to the harbor for your return trip to Bali or to catch a ferry to another Indonesian island.

I expected so much more... the way up to the harbor was well organized (the way back was on free shuttle...but also alright), the driver (Dicky - very nice guy!) came exactly on time to my hotel. Unfortunatelly I was the only person on this tour. So when I arrived at 12pm on Gili Air, my "island guide" was waiting for me, showed me the way to the bungalow and told me to rest until the bike ride at 4pm. Because I didn't need any rest I went to discover the island by myself. Shortly after 4pm he came with two bikes and we did a ride (half the way you needed to push the bike by feet) just all the way along the beach, in a circle around the island. Altough the guide was so friendly and nice, I could have done that by myself bc he wasnt explaining anything. Afterwards he told me to find him at the office when Im ready for dinner. When we went to the place theyve chosen for this one dinner included, he was waiting until they handed me the menu, left me the cash and whished me a goodnight. Which I hadnt, because in the bungalow room you could hear everything, also the very annoying party music until 4am. Next day snorkeling trip on a public boat/tour was alright, but afterwards there was nothing else planned so I decided to leave the trip earlier and go to gili trawangan by myself. I feel sorry for the guides to leave a bad review because they did their job (although they wheren't really entertaining... but if there where some other people on the tour, I'm sure it would have been better). But for that amount of money you could have done everything quite easy by yourself, stay in nicer accomodations, eat better food and even have more fun.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before January 20th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after January 20th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with The Bali Trip Mate. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 35 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
